I just can't get the Gjallarhorn!
Now I put about 400 plus hours into this game. I've completed countless raids, tiger/roc strikes, crucible matches, decrypted numerous legendary heavy engrams, and opened tons of exotic raid chests and still can't seem to get the Gjallarhorn. I have a lot of exotics but the Gjallarhorn eludes me. I'm going to keep grinding to find it but its exhausting. I'm curious if there's anyone else experiencing this terrible RNG.

i'm right there with with. just saw my friend get his 3rd in 2 weeks from crota..... i've played almost double the amount of time he's played.... like wtf i have 3 32's.... have done raids/ nightfalls every week.... done tons of strikes and crucible... it's just retarded. and now they know how OP it is XuR will probably never sell it again..... ugh

Same, I skipped buying it because I figured I wouldn't waste an exotic spot on a launcher anyways. Now I'm kicking myself, I got every exotic except ghorn and hardlight. Then again once I get one I'll have nothing left to play for.

I believe there are many of us who cannot get that weapon into our inventory, try as we may, it just never happens. I'm starting to think it will be the same with the Vex for me - those are the 2 I want for the collection...

Same here, 850 hours played, countless raids, strikes and crucible still no gjallerhorn, and my brother has less then 600 hours and got it from the first chest in CE raid 😔

To be honest I went 3 months before getting an exotic (apart from bounties and Xûrchase's) Then had 4 drop in a row from leggy engrams, Thunderlord 2.0, 2x Armamentarium 2.0 and Jellyhorn 2.0 I guess it was RNGesus's way of thanking me for sticking at it for so long.

I finally got mine today in the crota raid chest. Then, less than an hour later it dropped in the VoG raid chest for me. I have never been so lucky in Destiny

Most of my friends, who have pretty much all been playing regularly since day 1 have failed to find a gjallarhorn, some don't have ice breaker either. Today I dropped my 3rd gjallarhorn ... RNG sucks

1 ReplyI feel ya buddy. I've got plenty other exotics that people would envy me for, but I feel like I'm really missing out without a Gjallarhorn and Ice Breaker. Those two guns make raids so much easier.

I have three (all 2.0), one for each character so I don't have to swap around at the Tower like a bitch.
