Husk of the Pit
Try the Fist of Crota mission. There's a knight close to the starting point that drops Husk of the Pit. It's a lot faster than waiting 15min for another chance when you could just kill> orbit> go back down and kill it again.

Since I can't edit the post I'll just reply with this info if you haven't already heard about it. Bungie has finally brought back the husk and it now has a 150% higher chance to drop than it did before an update "mistakenly" removed it.

62 RepliesThe easiest way I got the husk of the pit 2x in a row was 1. launch fist of Crota on easy 2. go to the ritual 3. kill acolytes 4. when knight spawns take his shield down with arc murmur 5. Shoot him in the head (IMPORTANT) with hawk moon till he's almost dead that throw a grenade that sticks to any part of his body 6. BOOM HUSK OF THE PIT OBTAINED 7. ENJOY 8. RINSE AND REPEAT

3 Repliesbungie i just got the crux of crota and being trying to find the husk of the pit yet i cant please help because i don`t have any use for the crux and i seen more cruxs handed out than husk of the pits (out of my friends and raid teams i have been in)please help all of us in the same case as i am in by raiseing the chance the husk of the pit gets dropped or by bring back the blades of crota to patrols

Got my Eris to rank 4, killed countless blades of crota like 400 or 500 of them. I already have a Gjallarhorn and cant even get this one stupid white gun, please help me Bungie this makes no sense .

2 RepliesI keep getting this silly weapon. I've got one maxed(Eidolon ally) and like six or seven in my vault and inventory. Plus I've dismantled a few. RNG won't bless me with Ghorn but stuffs me with Husks... And this gun doesn't worth the fuss. It's impact is atrocious...

I at first thought the Husk of the Pit was nothing lol I looked further before I dismantled it, and I am so friggin' happy that I now potentially have Necrochasm! 0-0 Just need the rank up and murder Crota! I got it by chance when killing a Blade of Crota at a random time just last night from killing him. I was a lvl 10 Warlock gliding over one with a rocket launcher, just kinda shot, blew both of us up, and got the HotP. I thought maybe it was from destroying the sword since I didn't see it afterwards.

1 Replymy mate got one and didn't know what it was all about. I wasn't too fussed as i thought it was just a crappy gun. got it randomly on patrol on the moon killing some hive. now i've done my research i'm pretty stoked to have it and can't wait to start upgrading it. It's like with anything on destiny, the less you try the more you get.
