It's a TIMED exclusive. Destiny isn't the first to have done it, so untwist your panties and relax. People who complain about this sound like spoiled children who don't want to wait until Christmas morning to open their gifts, so they bitch and moan until they can open them on Hallo--blam!-ing-ween. It has been on the other shoe, MANY times, and PSN users had to deal with it. Microsoft should have offered more money for the Timed Exclusive, but Microsoft honestly does not care about it's xbox department, so they didn't.

Don't piss and moan at Bungie because your console maker thought Kinect was a better use of its money. Moreover, you've known for over a year that PS was going to get exclusive content, and you knew the price when you bought the game. It's not like they snuck that into fine print inside the game disc case. If you want the exclusives, buy a Playstation. If you want Kinect or EA's Titanfall, buy Xbox.

2 RepliesHonestly, I am in both camps. It is clearly unfair to Xbox users, but at the same time, it doesn't really matter. It's timed exclusive content. Look at skyrim, or any of the fallout games. Did timed exclusive content ruin those? no. because people are sheep and don't understand anymore that their money drives business models. If people are buying it, then companies will continue to sell it. Then one brave company will try a new, even more risky but potentially rewarding (for them) endeavor, and based on sales, they will decide if it's something they will continue to do moving forward (like timed exclusives, and gouging DLC "content") which will become the industry norm (because profit) or backtrack on, like DRM. Like it or not, the Video Games industry is no longer about the gamers. It's become a monetary powerhouse. And once you have the attention of investors, the focus turns away from quality product, and everyone in the industry begins to look at what sells. Overall quality goes down because all flash no substance games are selling just fine based on who's making it. Get Bungie to make a game, and you have an instant license to print money. Just like how the next Half Life game could be the story of a potato, who, along his journey to becoming a french fry, encounters a crow named Bar, and a Squash named Gourdon. And people would buy that junk up like hotcakes. (exaggeration, but you get the point.. I hope). TL;DR It doesn't matter because people will buy the product anyway, otherwise encouraging the industry to continue this ridiculous practice that Microsoft started last gen.

Do I like it, not really, but if I was half as mad as you claim to be i'd get the money to get the other system so I could have it all. Quit bitching or get over it.

Timed exclusive content is pretty normal. So is actual exclusive content. I'd say Xbox users are lucky they're getting the majority of the DLC now and only having to wait for small parts of it, instead of having to wait for the whole thing.

It drives me nuts to because I've been a bungie guy since marathon. Just remember that all the so called 'exclusive' content isn't exclusive at all its just timed for Xbox so just be patient and remember this. When they are all done with the game and complaining there is nothing to do we will have all there exclusive content unlocked on xbox. We will have new ways of keeping destiny fresh that they won't in the long haul.

as opposed to the 20 years microsoft has been paying out the backside for content exclusivity.... microsoft spends most thier money on titanfall exclusivness.. CoD bonuses.. and some battlefield and skyrim perks... and decide to under bid destiny.. and you call it BS? 20 YEARS microsoft has been doing it.. STARTED the entire practice..... go to microsofts HQ.. and bitch they didnt bid more to win the war THEY started :P see how far your crying gets you then.
