You guys didn't study business in school obviously. Just because there is no market doesn't mean there isn't an economy. The game has gross inflation of exotics and legendarys. Basically because of Xur. But his only op because of coin farming.
Someone with 3 titans at Lv 20 can run the night fall 3 times. The weekly 3 times and the daily 3 times a day. That's 47 ascendant materials, 27 strange coins and a minimum of 3 legendarys or exotics a week. Those coins will then buy you am exotic piece or an exotic weapon.
They then released the queens missions which players with 3 characters abused to the crap. Each character could run 5 bounties a day. That's 30-45 ascendant materials as day from dismantling easily obtainable legendarys.
Now everyone has been showered with all the rare gear for the last couple of weeks and everyone is stronger then what their supposed to be.
This isn't even taking into account the loot cave and engram farming.
EVERYTHING is grossly inflated. 100 hours in should only have one or 2 exotics. Instead most people have 5-10 and they start complaining that they can't wear more the one piece. They shouldn't have that many in the first place.

I get where your coming from and how people use there other characters to get the strange coins and such...hell i thought about it, but I only have one character, Warlock lvl 29. But Ive been doin it the way how bungie meant for it to be played...jus grinding. I have 4 exotic weapons, was 6, i dismantled super good advice(had 2) and dropped the Thorn bounty when I seen I had to do pvp. 2 exotic helmets, one is for titan class. Believe it or not 3 exotics came from chests when i got legendary engrams on the old cryptarch system. I wanted to post that it can be done with one charcter and get this much w/o having to go to other classes...and say no to your comment that you should only have 1 or 2 exotics by that lvl, on my part I would say luck but it could be that I have a week of gameplay too, I think some of the things they did were wrong, but I rolled with it cause I love the game. Alot of people jus need to give it some more time and definitely more patience. Also agree with economy staement, something needs to happen.

I've done the same as you dude. I have a 29 titan. And a 27 warlock. Both leveled the way they are supposed to be. (Titan and warlock armor obviously don't cross over) I can run the night fall and weekly twice... but it's really hard on my warlock. And that's the way it's supposed to be. Not build 3 of the same character and just transfer your gear and run everything 3 times super easy -_- I did the loot hole for a bit but found it rather ineffective. Only this week have i started to make a 2nd titan. But I've already finished the raid on hard. So really the only thing for me to do is complete my gear sets. Which is why the 2nd titan is coming around now so I can do the raid twice a week and have more chance to get that last raid piece which is evading me. But after my titan is maxed. .. I'll do my warlock. Lel

So your saying since I have this legendary and exotic gear for a titan and made one, I couldnt take it out of my Warlocks vault and equip it to the titan?

Yes. Thats how i got my warlock to insta level to 25. I had an exotic warlock piece from Xur, and i rolled 2 warlock Legendary items on my titan. actually first week in i had more gear for a warlock then i did a titan when my only character was a titan. so after seeing them in my bank i made a warlock just so i could equip him up :) i ended up needed to farm my rep to Lv2 vanguard to get the final legendary piece but it was worth it :)
