we need to remove Xur
Every week Xur comes out with welfare exotics that everyone and their grandmother will own. Every exotic I got off of a drop or the raid Xur has sold. Strange coins drop off of everything so it's pretty much free exotics for every kid that plays this game. Either expand the loot table or get rid of Xur. This shit is ridiculous. I got the Titan and hunter helmet the first week of the game. Thank goodness every scrub can't do hard mode vault. At least I can say I have a head piece.
Edit: I'm glad all of you are [b]THAT[/b] butthurt over my post. Before I got bored I seen that most of you go super negative in PVp and haven't even cleared vault yet. If you're gonna attack me over the internet. At least be good at the game.

This isn't attacking your post or anything. BUT I tried the read death and a fusion rifle in the crucible last night and went 2.0/4.0/7.0 in games haha Before I used the Epilogue un-upgraded and it was soo light hitting and the sniper beer worked in the small maps. I guess if I use guns I actually like I go positive quite often.

Getting exotics is completely RNG. It's RNG in Crucible. It's RNG to get bounties. Yeah, it's even RNG for VoG drops. It's completely unfair to keep exotics in the hands of only those who are lucky. The game has been out for quite a while now, and there are [I]still[/I] players who have yet to get an exotic bounty or exotic drop. The only way for those players, and players like them, to ever get exotics is through Xur, which is still pretty hard to do. You have to do the Weekly Heroic Strike which, [b]NO[/b], [b]NOT EVERYONE CAN SOLO.[/b] You also have to get lucky with drops. I don't get strange coin drops/rewards at all, only motes of light (which, arguably, are useless).

Why would anyone need to do the raid as well to be classed as good at the game? Ill never do VoG out of lazyness for not learning mechanics but if you are using that as an excuse to be good, get good and come back when you have vex fusion rifle kiddo, then you can compare your stiffness even more!

2 RepliesI still find it funny how everyone who gets exotics on random drops feel that they've earned it. Yet people who buy them are sacks of shit getting free stuff. Because we all know that strange coins just appear in your inventory everyday. I agree that this whole game is still in need of some serious tweaks. Maybe have xur sell exotic bounties instead of the weapon outright. Offer up something more than "this needs to change because I dont like it."

Dude. Getting lucky in RNG has no bearing on skill. They should remove your exotic from your inventory because you did not earn it. I have beat the raid four times and never got an exotic. This is the place that makes most logical sense to get one. You are a bottom feeding special snowflake.

I don't think he should be removed. While it is true what you say, and I too was frustrated that everyone and their brother could buy gear I already had with coins that are so easy to "earn" you can do it accidentally lol, I think he's a cool part of the game. Also, it's only the weapons that are an issue - no hunters or locks are buying titan gear or via versa so that cuts down on repetition. I think perhaps a good solution for weapons would be engrams: great opportunities to get exotics but maintains variety.
