So if you haven't done VoG yet you pretty much never will.
Literally no one will take anyone who isn't experienced. So if you haven't done it yet and want to well sucks to be you.
BECAUSE TEXT IS HARD TO CONVEY SUBTLEY: I think this is shitty behavior for people who act this way.

Not true, it's harder to get 6 people's schedules in line then anything. Most groups have a mix of veterans and news and there are quite a few raid pro's who will drop in to help out or tell you what to do then leave. The community for the most part is helpful, but If you're trying to bring a level 25 along for the ride who can't handle their role then there are problems.

I usually do a run or 2 a day even though ive already gotten all my rewards from normal and hard. Im raided out for today but hit me up on xbox and we can knock it out sometime. gt: SCAR is Metal edit: I also have no problem giving newbs the run down on the vault, at one point I was in the same exact position

Absolutely false... My group can 5 man the raid... and on the boss itself 4 man it.... 2 extra bodies isn't a problem

I think I run with different new people almost everyday. Just now I talked a full group through the fights and I wasn't even in the raid with them. They ended up fnishing the raid in about 1 1/2 hours.

As I'm sure you can now see, there are many people who are more than willing to take inexperienced people on a raid. It's not all that hard with 3-4 people who are experienced.

I havent because my lot needs 1 or 2 more to drag themselves up to 26 and we'll be ready. Theres about 9 of us on regularly, with another 3 set to join us when they get XB1s. This game is best enjoyed with mates.

I done it yesterday with a few who hadn't done it yet either. There was one guy with us who had done it multiple times and we past it...only 4 hrs later lol

Or you could do it with your real friends who also play destiny and haven't done it yet either.

I have tried to find people to do it with since it came out, I either ; never get a reply, people are not same timezone as me. This is why we need matchmaking. Yes, I have never done raid because it's too difficult to find people.

And there are a lot of shitty people out there lol. I usually ask for people with experience because i also ran into A LOT of people who either don't have a mic or are unwilling to use it. So instead of saying the same thing over and over again without response (dont go behind the pillar when atheon opens the time portal, we are on the RIGHT SIDE, GO TO THE RIGHT, YOU pick up the relic etc etc), i like to play with people who know what they are doing so the same mistakes don't happen over and over. But I've met people who dont respond to anything you say, i've met people who think their strategy is better than everyone else's. And every single one of them had 'experience' So basically, i don't give a sh*t anymore. I like to play it with my friends so we can clear it in 1 hour or something with my primary, and i try to do it with my 2nd and 3rd characters with random people. That way, if i dont find a nice group, i've got little to worry about. Oh and if u think that's hard, try to get a group together for hard mode who can actually do it. That sh*t is f*cking impossible. But is anyone is up to raid, and u have a mic and u dont feel u qualify as a shitty person, are on ps4 and dont mind taking tips on how to do it, i'd be glad to run you through it. Psn is is MeneerMalik. Then again, finding good people might be just like RNG. Some people get every exotic out there in the first week, and others get all uncommon sh*t for all eternity

Then all the people that haven't done it will team up. People will always be wanting/needing people to do it all you have to do is ask on the forum and you will find plenty of people to raid with.
