Halo back to Bungie
Do you want bungie to work on halo again if they had the chance or for 343i to? Personally I want to see how halo xbox one (halo 5) turns out before I say

No they are not close to being as good with the story and lore as 343.

Bungie is done with halo. It is understandable. They just got sick of making the same game. In a fantasy world yes I would much rather have Bungie make halo. Obviously 343 has no F-ing clue what they are doing. It would seem 343 wanted to make a Call of Duty type game but instead got stuck making Halo.

23 RepliesNo. I was happy for ODST and Reach, but the Chief's story should've ended with Halo 3. As far as I'm concerned, there don't need to be any more Halo games.

Bungie is bound for other projects. We can only hope that 343i can do a good job with Halo, because I highly doubt 343i will listen to Halo fans.

It doesn't matter if we want Bungie to make Halo again, I think the only way they would is if Microsoft gives them the rights to the series back and that will never happen. I think after Halo 3, it is clear they didn't want to do another Halo game. Halo 3 ODST was filler between H3 and Reach and Halo Reach was a contractual obligation before they went their separate ways.

It wouldn't make any sense for Bungie to start making Halo games again, so no. I would have liked Halo: Reach to be the last Halo game, but since that's not the case it would only make sense for 343i to continue on with their saga.

I think 343 messed up halo4 but I'm willing to give hem a second shot but we also have to remember that some of the 343 team worked with bingeing before which is why the were trusted with the title.

Look at the regression from Halo 3 to Reach, then look at the regression (or arguably slight [i]progression[/i]) from Reach to Halo 4. The quality leap that Bungie initiated was much larger, profound, and frankly disgusting. How anyone respects this company still is way beyond my comprehension. I hope they don't even ponder, for a second, in even a dream, ever touching Halo again.

No. It is time for Bungie to move on to their Destiny. 343i has taken up the mantle. I am cautiously confident that Halo 5 will be good. Surely they have learned from their mistakes. Hopefully I don't regret these words.
