Yeah, I've played the xbox beta a lot. It's pretty shitty looking when comparing to pc and the texture pop-ins are terrible, but I still enjoy it more than 3 so far. Plus, its a beta and I would hope they fix all the problems/glitches I've found.

Sadly, considering the game is out in less than a month, I doubt all that stuff is going to get fixed, which makes me sad. :( That said, Dice was great about releasing giant patches later down the lines to fix issues, so I'm sure they will be addressed at some point.

If I remember correctly BF3 was the same way when it first came out, lots of bugs and glitches. They seemed to have been really good at listening and fixing what needed it. I just hope there is nothing game breaking when it first comes out. But, either way I'm sure it will be better at least for me than BF3.

Oh yeah, just the spawning system is alone worth the price of the upgrade! Or how about the ability to adjust loadouts on the fly with the phone app? So good!

Edited by Payola: 10/9/2013 4:44:31 AMHaven't tried any of that tablet/phone shit, does not really interest me. Seems like a great idea and like it would appeal to a lot of the players.

Why not? Do you not own a smart phone/tablet? Honestly, if you do, you should absolutely be trying "that shit". The Battlelog app is now essentially an extension of the game. I don't personally care about the iPad "commander" crap, although it could be a cool way for my wife to "play" along in my games, but using the Battlelog app to setup and change loadouts on the fly is incredibly useful, and solves the whole "why can't i setup loadouts between matches!?" complaint.

Edited by Payola: 10/9/2013 1:01:48 PMI have a few smart phones, no tablets. Not sure, just has not interested me as much. The only thing I would be really be happy seeing on my mobile are stats and such. But, I'll give it a shot off your recommendation. Never really thought about the fact you can do it in between matches.

Yeah it always boggled my mind that I was forced to sit for almost 60 seconds between games without the ability to do anything but view the scoreboard, especially when games like CoD give you that precious time to dive into your loadouts to tweak things. Normally during those times I would whip out my phone anyways, so now I can actually do stuff that relates to the game I'm playing. Another great use for the app is being able to check which assignments you need to work on in the middle/before a game. So if you're trying to unlock a specific weapon, you can instantly see your progress on that assignment to see how much longer you need to use a certain gun or destroy a certain vehicle, etc.
