Marvel is the only logical option.

I love both, but most of my favorite heroes are from Marvel. To me it just seems like there are only a handful of good DC heroes. I will acknowledge that most of the stuff Marvel came up with was a rip off of something DC did, but I still like Marvel better.

DC has Superman and Batman, the two best superheroes in the entire legion of Marvel and DC characters. So easily DC.

41 RepliesI honestly believe that if you like Marvel more than DC, you don't know anything about comics. Seriously. Most of Marvel's characters are just copies of DC's. Save Spider-man, there are NO characters in Marvel that are on-par with Batman or even Superman (when written right). Iron Man? Lame. (Cry me a river, you only like him post-Robert Downey Jr. movies. Pre-Iron Man movie, he was pretty lame.) Thor? Unoriginal, overpowered, and about as poorly written as Superman, with a more generic backstory and crummy rouges gallery (save Loki). Captain America? Lol. Do I even need to say anything? Hulk is admittedly pretty interesting, but only because of Bruce, not the Hulk. It's cool seeing the dynamic between Banner and the Hulk, but even then, the change between the two characters is too extreme to hold any traction, IMO.

Edited by Dio Brando: 2/22/2014 12:03:02 AMI don't read comics, I'd rather just watch movies or play games. I've got a few Batman graphic novels though which I enjoyed. Batman and his villains are the the only DC guys I like, but I much prefer Marvel. My favorite superhero is Spiderman and X Men.

Image has the best stories and is putting out the best work right now. DC has my two favorites (Batman and Superman) and has putt out the majority of work I've enjoyed the most. Marvel though has the best talent working for them as far as cape comics these days.

Both. I never got the whole "Marvel vs DC" thing, it's even stupider than Xbox 360 vs PS3. They both have great characters and comics.
