I had always been a loyal Xbox player back when bungie had been giving us Halo; but ever since 343 started creating, "Halo" I've been buying an playing the majority of my games on the Playstation. Truth is now, I'm completely torn trying to decide which console to buy and play Destiny on because I have a lot of friends i would like to play with, but I prefer Playstation. Could someone enlighten me on the differences that are currently known between the Playstation and Xbox versions? I've heard Playstation is getting exclusive extra content, but I'm not sure how accurate that is.

Just go with what you're friends are playing on. It's a multiplayer game, 15 more fps isn't going to mean all that much if you're always playing alone. That said if you're friends are getting PS4 get a PS4, same rules apply. This isn't a console war question, its a common sense question.

1 ReplyGotta be that ps4 !!

Tough choice. I normally say go for the console that you friends are playing on. But seems you have looked at that and it hasn't helped. So I would just go for what your gut says.

9 RepliesXbox One. -The controller is better/bigger. (I have big hands- remember the "Duke"?) On-line service is far better. The PS4 will be for their exclusives only, but any multi platform game I usually prefer XBL.

you posted that you never liked destiny and now you want to play it on ps4 BUMPNATION

If Destiny was a core exclusive to the Playstation 4.... I'd get one in a heart beat. But it's not so get what your friends game on. Look down the road a bit too and see what each console has in store as far as games are concerned. You really can't go wrong with either.

6 RepliesI see it as an investment in terms of what you like and what can be foreseen....ingot an Xbox one because i enjoy halo and hopefully destiny and I can see myself play both in the future, can't do that on the play station However, the argument can be flipped you might like infamous and destiny, but you can't play infamous on Xbox The choice isn't about hardware even though people continue arguing about it, it's about the exclusive and which ones you gravitate towards....however, we are united regardless of console by a medium which feels the void known as destiny The choice is yours dont ask people what to think, make the decision on your own and trust your gut....I mean seriously we all have different guts

11 RepliesYou should get the Xbox one it has been lowered to the same price as the ps4 and it has so many more amazing feature like the kinect is awesome, you can use voice camands, it will create your own avatar by scanning you it can even detect your emotions and its has some great exclusives better than ps such as halo and titanfull

1 ReplyDoesn't PS4 get early beta access?
-
Xbox one pls

Both ps4 and Xbox one are great consoles and now they both are 399$. If your looking to get some exclusive dlc and the beta a week early I would go with the playstation. If you enjoy playing with your friends and you want to keep playing with them then go to the console they are playing on. Playstation does get exclusive items but keep in mind a game as big as destiny is sure to have something better. Example halo reach pre order bonus like the recon helmet. People used it for a little but when they unlocked more armor they moved on from it. So I'm sure it would be the same way in destiny.

Xbox one better online play

Xbox One for sure.

When it comes down to these decisions I ask myself one simple question. What console are my friends going to be playing Destiny on? I'll be playing it on the Xbox One.
-
Depends where your friends go but if your alone get the ps4 its a better community no offemse xbox p.s. I have both consoles
-
All the people I ask is because PS4 is gonna be better it's like Halo xbox 360 was the best console and still is now so if Bungie loses their "first companions" the xbox players they will be losing business, but really if I play a console and/or the other console is better I will stay "loyal" to that company for me loyalty is important if I break the loyalty it's just bad
-
Still a fan of Halo, even though 343 took over. Its not so bad, really. But the Playstation gets early access to the Destiny Beta, but as far as I know, that's it. I don't think they're getting anything "exclusive" for Destiny. The Playstation 4 might be a great system, but I'm still an Xbox fan, and therefore say go with the Xbox One.

1 Replyplay what you want man

7 RepliesPS4 is more powerful, cheaper, smaller, has (in my hands-on opinion) a more comfortable controller, looks better than the xbox one, and the fact the Destiny is being tested on and built for PS4 leads me to believe that's the best deal. It's what I'd go with. Xbox one has a better UI and more (quite unnecessary) features, but those appear to be the only upsides to me. Also the fact that Destiny's engine got updated with Virtual Reality support at the same time Sony announced Project Morpheus tells me that PS4 players are gonna be the first to experience Destiny VR. That doesnt usually appeal to some people, as they prefer screens, but it shows sony is a bit more innovative than microsoft. I'm a PC gamer, so i havent had much experience with either, but right now ps4 seems to be the best choice by a longshot.
