IRON BANNER DROPS AND STRUCTURE IS A FAIL
Iron Banner Extra Bonus Focus being a current weapon and not a New Iron Banner weapon and low drop rate with all the armor shows the told disregard and care about your game anymore.
To put up with how bad PvP is with a Squad on one side and Solos on the other to the Hackers and Cronus users it's intolerable to put up with it and get MONODY-44 as a Bonus Focus?! The new weapons are trickling in on a short event and someone made the decision to put "MONODY-44" as a game pull?!
I wasn't even going to play this event but heaven's forbid I have hope and now I'm just going to dip again until June.

It’s pretty obvious that Bungie just hates the destiny franchise at this point. But I can’t say that I’m angry. I love watching this company getting the destruction that they so very much deserve.

Yeah this was a major L on their part! They had PLENTY and I mean PLENTY of time to ensure a good iron banner rolled out. Monody-44 can -blam!- ❗️❗️❗️

Wow now the focus drop of the day is Wild Anthem Gauntlets?!?!??? There is ZERO way to guarantee to get weapons in IB anymore. We can't focus them or get a Daily Focus. This isn't even worth the time or stress just to convey the proper way of doing their own events. This event should have been a slam dunk. I give up

Iron Banner should only drop loot in the IB loot pool. Weapon guaranteed before a piece of extra armor depending on score. Bonus drops don't matter if y get aren't IB loot.

1 ReplyThey literally took out three bonus rewards off of Control and only have it on Eruption cuz I guess nobody wants to play that. Please explain to me why you are destroying anyone's incentive on wanting to play anything Destiny 2? It can't be as straightforward as you want to kill destiny. It's got to be negligence. Making everyone happy and enjoy a beloved game mode (well at least used to be beloved) should have been the number one push. Instead we get a cookie cutter rewards pass with no guaranteed way of trying to get weapons for a limited time events. At least for guardian games you gave weapons whereas in this you get 75% armor most of which is normal crucible armor and barely any weapons. Now you literally took out any reason to play Control because I guess people were playing that more than Eruption. Why does the entire community have to beg for you guys to do things that should be obvious? Yet again the waste of my breath.

They've only had 8 months to prepare since the last Iron Banner, how are they supposed to check and make sure the drops are right? The one intern still working on the game isn't a miracle worker! /s

I played a few rounds to get the Dailies done. Not impressed with the AR nor anything else. My Gnawing Hunger beats everything I seen so far on the new AR. Plus been mercied 3 times thanks to getting placed against teams and us just solo's. Then there was the guy that came over as we were capturing our first zone at the very beginning and whipped us with a rocket launcher. How come I, or any none cheater, never gets to start the game with heavy!?!?! Yep I'm done with IB - AGAIN!!! So disappointed I used to live for IB!

Smdh[/quote] How are people still surprised.bungie has delivered NOTHING but disappointment for the last 2-3 years. L after L and people still expect good things from bungie the reality is the bungie that made good content is completely gone and replaced with dei hires that care about pronouns and policies rather than even half way acceptable content. The sad reality is bungie will continue to disappoint and ruin games until they go bankrupt. And I’m my opinion bungie going bankrupt can’t happen fast enough. Hopefully they get desperate for money and sell the destiny ip to an actually competent company. But that’s just me hoping and probably won’t happen.

Edited by Joulevette12: 4/15/2026 3:50:24 AMI called this situation last season all they doing oversaturating the loot pool and this low drop rate was fond on purpose due to the Tier system they want you to be engaging in iron banner all week because they know once you get the weapons with the roll the you desire they are gone. Imagine putting 2 different armor sets and weapons in a temporary pvp mode

I got crazy amount of AR and a single trace ( not like any trace useful that's not exotic ) and i got more non IB armor than IB armor but this was excepted because this is Bungie after all

I coulda told you to expect a shetshow. Nothing but stacks and randos in low population crucible. I have the rewards I want from last year. I'll pass. Good luck to whoever still playing.
