It's time. Marathon is now public for almost 6 weeks and runs much better on the Tiger engine than Destiny 2. Since Edge of Fate the PC client got random stutter at least for my rig. And I told so many time, it's the only game with this issue. Marathon showed me, it's not a problem with the engine, it's a specific Destiny 2 problem. You should now have more ressources available, so please turn your focus to the Destiny 2 PC client. And yeah for the record, on console the game runs fine, no stutter. But that's no my main platform to play this game.

Yes same here, AGAIN! It use to be fine for few weeks , by every update they messup server side backend and it jitters stutters frame pacing when moving across the map. Now I went so far and tested various DNS and it's the same on all.. A friend claims his game is fine.. lol here is my dxdiag for bungie, https://pastebin.com/5APENQg7 apparently they look into account issues not as a whole,.. so maybe post your dxdiag too

3 RepliesThey are tone deaf. This issue was introduced first time they removed Fullscreen Exclusive and since then, they did nothing to fix it. Not holding my breath they will fix this anytime soon. It is not a " older version of Tiger engine", it is that they removed Fullscreen Exclusive and it introduced stutters.

Marathon has a completely different version of tiger. The netcode is built from scratch to handle dedicated servers. Destiny 2 netcode is spaghetti with 8 years of patches and build on peer to peer coding. D2 will never perform like Marathon. It is like saying my 1972 pick up should run like a brand new corvette, since they both have chevy v8s
