Sever slam sucks
Definitely need to fix on the contracts thing I’ve been roaming and dying a boat load just to try and find these dead drops for Traxus omg this is so annoying no tool tips no waypoint marker nothing definitely considering a refund
Edit: really hate how the contracts system punishes you for not exfill g at contract completion this is BS your hard work should be rewarded instantly your work was done and earned but this game is just terrible rn the top tiers are just running perimeter like it’s the only map and slaughtering all the new players that come back to attempt to salvage stuff for more play time and value but that’s a dream isn’t it the Ai is terribly OP and doesn’t scale in difficulty like Bungie said it would !! Hey hate to say it but It's an extraction shooter if you don't extract you get nothing you die you lose everything That's the point... Every bullet every resource needs to be accounted for... Do not engage unless necessary situational awareness is key... what do you think this is borderlands?

You read the thing, you bring up your map... you ping the location it says in the thing. Do the thing, collect the thing... kill the thing. Yada yada yada... loot during, before, after... Protect your neck. Use inspect to help you commit their smaller thumbnails to your memory, for faster looting. Essentially read the instructions.

Quote !!![/quote] Still sucks not fun or enjoyable in anyway and that doesn’t include dying yeh it’s apart of it but the Ai is BS strong even for a beta come on ! And to those who flabber thier jaws and say oh it’s an extraction shooter have a long drop and a sudden stop it’s not the extraction and PVP I care about it’s the PVE and the environmental damage it’s OP get spat on by one of those plants thier all your health ticked away or go into a gas room by by health just above zero if your lucky to get out quick

1 ReplyI don’t think it’s the server slam that sucks. It’s the entire game in general. The only thing Marathon has going for it is Bungie’s gun feel. Otherwise is just like a super ugly patrol space missing the action.

1 ReplyTried it and didn't enjoy it. The UI is -blam!- the art style is so bad, they can decide if its the future or the 80's the gun play is good but thats the only good thing. Ran into other players 3 times and 2 of them were extraction camping . Ttk is too fast, if other players get the first shot they are probably going to win. I'd play every now and then if im board but only if its free. In my opinion they game isnt worth $40 and definitely not worth killing destiny.

3 RepliesMy biggest gripe with it at the moment is just that voice chat is borked. Which is really bad, because it leads to team disorganization. Which will totally get you killed in Marathon.

Their words not mine! Typical, Bungie for you. Releases half finished products only to later done the years make it feel complete! Where have we seen this before!.. Hmmm... What happens when that newness wears off... Time will tell.

6 RepliesGames like this are meant to be more tactical you have to be aware of what's going on you have to observe learn the map The game's not going to hold your hand... extraction shooters don't play like that there's going to be a learning curve and you definitely ain't going to learn much that matters in a beta style server slam...
