Well I got my 11 years so I’m fine with what’s happening and knew this was, coming . For me D2 was done with final shape !
-
4 RepliesIt ended years ago. I’d even say it ended when d2 was realised
-
8 RepliesI lost something that was deeply anchored in me for almost 10 years and also helped me through difficult times. Honestly, I'm frustrated. I have met a bunch of great people from all around the world, some who are like a friend, even with a difference of half the globe. But the game isn't bearable in its current state anymore.
-
-blam!- the golden parachute ex employees that let the corporate morons ruin this game.
-
1 ReplyOur minds? Yes absolutely. Marathon confirms theyve lied to us for years. The resources couldve been used to make this game better.. or a d3. But instead they lied & used the resources for a 💩 extraction shooter lol
-
I’m kinda of thankful that they have been slowly pushing me away from the game. It will be much easier when they shutdown the servers.
-
its like destiny 2 is like that A lister that had too many cosmetic surgeries and when you look at them you just want to ask why did you do that to yourself.

I think d2 has always been a roller coaster. I remember when I was coming out I was super excited about it and that initial mission in the tower was just awesome and still kills me they vaulted all of that. But then the initial gameplay. No abilities, super slow, no sparrow and literally had to slow walk across the open areas. It was excruciating. Vanilla d2 sucked Then they fixed it. Then they broke it Then they fixed it Then they broke it. Iost my clan between d1 and d2 so d2 in all it was was always a struggle to get into the good bits since they locked most of it behind must have fireteam but now...it's exhausting. I hope they fix it and find a path to longevity but with Bungie record I just have zero faith. It's sad because there's just so much in this game that has the potential to be a friend maker but Bungie chose profit and violence.
-
4 RepliesWell, I lost my mom who was only 56 almost 6 months ago. Funny how the potential death of a game doesn’t really mean much in the grand scheme of things. I just hope to see the death of the Bungie brand given what I know about them outside of gaming. Best case scenario is it comes back rebranded with the announcement of a Destiny: Become Legend reboot or something.
-
2 RepliesI got to say that even though D2 was made it shows that bungie left D1 to spoil, I wasn't on board with D2 when it was announced they could of updated D1 like they did with D2 but they chose Eververse store over improving D1, but I'm mixed on both D1, and D2 but if I had to choose it would be D1 all the way.

Millions of players?
-
59 RepliesYou haven't lost anything. D2 is exactly the same as it was a few days ago.
-
At least the millions of streamers got what they wanted. Wait there are more streamers than regular players right? 10 million streamers? Tenhundred percent?
-
Welcome back to the real world. 90%+ of us had this over the last few years. You’ll get over it. And most probably, your real life will benefit. Soon you’ll get to see destiny news as seeing an ex Gf that’s got really fat since you last saw them. Ahh life’s good 😃
-
It's still crazy to me that there are currently players in Destiny who never even got to experience D2 Y1 content and even the Y2 content.
-
Yes my wallet where is it dam thing has legs I swear
-
When destiny was launched in 2014 was really good. Destiny 2 was a hype too, Until Bungie switched and switchted and switched everyone was layed off. then the bad thing happend. Now the game is totally dead. Only Bungie does not know it. Marathon is not going to save this company. They gambled and lost. It could be a fantastic game, but they bet on the wrong horse. Shame.

Let me guess, prom night and a sixer of wine coolers.......

Who is "we" and what have you lost?
-
The will to continue, perhaps?! 🤔 FWIW: I’m waiting for the Game Cube launch. That is all. Springs Eased! 🙄
-
Yes was a wonderful time!
-
Yes, it was a very wonderful time during 2020-2022 I think I played my most hours during those years.
-
4 RepliesAnd this is why Stop Killing Games exists.
-
Y'all are more than welcome to relocate to DC.

3 Repliescant see any loss according to news for june as said in another thread, i have a 12 hour working day and days wasnt able to finish everything in destiny 2 the last 2 years, so i welcome the delay of the update because i have a little chance to finish things which i wasnt able to and it will give me skills and levelling i need and want :o)))))))))) and i love my real life instead of living in the illusions of the internet where too many unemployed leave their st***d traces ... :o)))))))))))))))))))))))))))
