Our current plan is to upgrade Armor across all RAD content to the Tier system.
Weapons from Dungeons will also be Tiered starting in June.
As for Raids, Crafted variants of weapons already exist. To elevate those while embracing the power of tiered weapons, we'll be upgrading crafted versions (and adept variants!) with new perks and ways to enhance columns to match that of Tier 5 weapons. We'll have more details closer to launch.
------------------------------------------------
The updates to endgame content are coming quite late, but it is better than never receiving the update at all.
But so far, this looks to be a massive update to the game overall. Every Dungeon and every Raid will have its gear shifted to the Tiering system, which presumably includes each armor set getting Armor Perks with the transition. That alone, is substantial, revitalizing the endgame that Edge of Fate all but killed, but Dmg's additional statement about upgrading Craftable weapons to match Tier 5 weapons...
THAT is my deepest hope and dream, about to come true. Upgrading the Crafting system so that we can now enhance magazine, barrel, and Origin Trait perks. The next best step would be to do the same with Enhanceable weapons, giving them additional enhancement tiers for the same benefits.
It will more than justify the delay if they are able to update all the older Raids and Dungeons with the one update, because making so many changes to so many armor sets and weapons is a massive undertaking. After all, they shipped the Craftable weapons update for Raids on a Seasonal basis, not all at once.
And all of that is just what they told us is coming up with their planned changes.

2 RepliesIf they are going to do armor set perks for all raids and dungeons then we will need craftable armor and be allowed to swap out set bonuses based on build viability for paragon brawler specialist grenadier bulwarks and gunner armor sets. Otherwise the revamp to all armor is going to kill vault space, as for the weapons, I personally have all red borders collected so that's a plus, as for already owned adepts, having to go and refarm adepts from master raids would be pointless no matter what perks are added. If refarming raid and dungeon weapons is what you want I'm happy for you, for me and many others who already grinded every god roll from old raids and dungeons that's not fun, it's a chore we've already experienced and been through. If by chance we can take our pre-existing weapons and upgrade them I'm all for it via currency ect, but to refarming for stuff we already have is god awful. Either way time will tell, see you starside 🫡🍻✌️

I expected it to just be Pinical Ops gear moved into RAD content. Hope thats not the case. Hopefully they actually are reworking raid and dungeon gear.
