Is it useful to report malicious attacks on the Firepower Team?

I was matched with a loser in Fireteam finder. We were playing the highest difficulty mission, and when we got to the final boss, he kicked me out of the Fireteam. This was extremely insulting and malicious. Is the in-game reporting system effective? Is there any way to punish him? Yes, players can get banned for kicking at the end of activities. In game report works as well as on the Bungie website and from game history, see https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049497451-Report-Suspected-Cheating-and-Poor-Behavior However, you aren’t allowed to name and shame, so their name is going to be redacted from this post by a mod.

  • Its useless reporting anything to Bungie. They ban people only if they post mean posts on forums.

I'll just let the fact that the player's name got censored speak for itself.

  • "CAN" players get banned for this? Yes "DO" players get banned for this? No Don't waste your time reporting absolutely anything. The chances Bungie bans someone is extremely slim.

The only way you can prevent that from happening is to create your own game. It may take a few extra min to get one started but its worth it
