Which browser/device were you using? Names are limited to 26 characters and checking the elements on Chrome the text box does have a maxlength attribute set to prevent it going over that. Unfortunately, you won't be able to change your name to something you want unless Bungie issue another token in the future, they don't issue them on request. If you'd rather be Redacted#### then fill in the privacy form linked at the bottom of [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049024632-Contact-Form-Data-Privacy-Requests]this[/url] page. If accepted they'll change it to Redacted, you do not get to pick any other name via that method.
