One has to ask the fundamental question of whether or not you actually like your players. The power level changes you announced were great in theory, but absolutely suck in implementation. First, you brought back TIMERS to solo missions. Second, you pulled back the power increase for combatants when adding modifiers, which is fine. But then you put in a CAP so you're still 30 points handicapped against combatants, and changed the scoring system making it harder to reach a level for which you're given a drop at a higher level than you're currently at. Seriously, WTF? Do you just not care if the solo players get fed up and leave the game once and for all? The whole reason people complained about the power increases for combatants with each modifier is because the didn't want every single mission to be a sweat show, as it's just not enjoyable. Most of us have jobs and aren't streamers who do nothing but game all day. We like to be rewarded in a game like this for the time we spend. If we're not, we'll move on. You also need to understand the basic psychological principle that people don't like to have things taken away. That alone has driven 40% or more of the player base away.

4 RepliesHave you even played the game post-patch? It's way easier to level up now because: * By playing at the same delta you had to play at pre-patch you're now guaranteed higher scores with less modifiers. * You get + 2 instead of +1's * You get bonus engrams at + 2 * The weekly missions throw bonus engram missions at us and as a solo player - who probably isnt running Fireteam Ops alone - you're never going to run out of Fireteam Bonus engrams for the activities that are matchmade. You can basically fill half your slots with +2's in one run.

Yesterday after the reset I got from 499 to 507 in one evening (+/- 3 hours).

Edited by Killapete232: 10/15/2025 7:21:16 PMI'll say it again, RNG and power leveling is just not a good mix. Having to run from 500 to 550 is just the same as pre patch 400 to 450, it's a long boring pointless grind. After doing the 450 grind prior to ash and iron I'm fine at being a 450+, have all my T5 god rolls, got my T5 armor for all 3 characters, I'm done till renegades. At this point I need content that is new and refreshing, everything in the portal I've done since it originally launched for whatever seasons they are derived from. Enjoy Destiny 2 guardian 🫡🍻🤜🤛

5 RepliesUhh no, it's literally never been easier to level up lmao

This is one of the worst takes I've seen on here. Read the room. Watch Paul Tassi's video. Even he likes it, and he hardly likes anything in this game. LOL

I went up 10 levels yesterday, which was taking a week previously... this was at the diamond iii level. My advice: chase the bonus drops The matchmade reclaim activity is still pretty chill and for solo ops I would recommend the following: Pressure cooker, touche, no starting ammo, brawn... even at 530 it's enough to get an a+ score! Will it take 2 mins? No, but pick something with bonus drops and you could get 4 drops in 6-7 minutes, which is pretty great!!

Timers would have had to have left at some point to be brought back.
