Weapons Costing 25,000 Glimmer with an Engram is Rough
Title says it all. I want to spend all my engrams that I have not sit here being timegated by glimmer gains. Just make it 10k glimmer or something. 25k is kinda absurd.

Yeh it’s just another way of increasing grind. Should be 1 engram and 10k or 2 engrams.

PvP especially doesn't give much glimmer at all. I'm always glimmer capped until Iron Banner rolls around, then I'm out of it with dozens of leftover engrams. PvE drops glimmer left, right and center. In the meanwhile, Nether - for example - gives good glimmer and bunch of other resources as well. It's quite efficient in terms of rewards. Unless you need normal weapon drops still, I'd suggest just speed running the bosses. The regular chests are kinda meh and just take time to hunt and loot.

Even if you're a new player it really doesn't take long to max out the glimmer cap without using any ghost mods, it may feel like it for the first few days but you'll notice that glimmer is a non issue. Look at Milo (the cod zombies youtuber) he hasnt played since Forsaken, joined a couple weeks back and prepped for Sundered contest mode, he too was complaining about glimmer his first few days then he realized how much the game throws at you for just playing and just cracked on. Season pass, dismantling, Rahool trades and just farming content will fill you up quick, heck even just playing IB for a few hours would max you out. Glimmer cap = 20 focused engrams (which would take days to get just grinding IB without focus) and thankfully Rahool is right next to Shaxx if you need anymore glimmer.

13 RepliesI don’t understand this. No matter what I do I have max glimmer. If the chance comes that I need glimmer, the season pass & previous season passes have tons of free glimmer in them to refill my stock.

agree but thats why I test some things out in the moon at altars of sorrow (it drops phantasmal frags and rahool gives you like 10k for 10).. and farmed it once for like 500 phantasmal frags... and then kick it up occasionally from then (every once in a while the dreaming city dark frags and europa herealways pieces will also add up.., you combine with a wombo combo and get all the chests and that gets you banshee engrams too > good for altars as well) I haven't found a limit on phantasmal frags and of course play with ghost on full glimmer ...I thought maxing the postmaster with garbage drops on my 2 unused guardians would help but its only 1k per dismantle on legendary (and ghosts.. nothing for vehicles or ships) but it helps a lil -
