There. I said it. PERFECT. And here's 3 main reasons why: #1: The bosses are the right health. Being able to comfortably 4 phase both of them on my first try was really nice, basically with no real damage setup? I mean, c'mon compare that to like when GOTD first came out, those bosses were TANKY. #2: Mechanics are easily learned and manageable. All it took was one 10 minute guide and a first try if each encounter and I felt like I could do them flawlessly. They add a perfect level of challenge to the dungeon. #3: The room layouts was great, unlike Vesper's Host (cough cough). Plenty of room to move around without getting getting turned into guardian pancakes.
Btw, adding lore in the mechanics was a great idea

I watched a guide last night as a clanmate and I went in blind and had no idea what to do now that I have an idea it looks like it’s going to be one of my favorite dungeons

2 Replies4 phase you say bet it's like 12 for solo players even on normal 🤣

yeah, normal hp pool, and 5 very good guns makes this dungeon very good

Going in as a Solo player entirely blind to the mechanics (no spoilers please), I was able to figure out the first encounter without too much difficulty. Found the hidden chest in the maze basically by accident (I assumed the nodes would open up the way forward through the Dungeon) then spent an extra ten minutes actually finding my way out of that area. Have gone into the second encounter and I’m fairly certain I understand what is being asked of me there, will pick it back up probably tomorrow to work out the specific build I’ll use to try to get through that. What I’ve seen thus far seems entirely reasonable (although I’ll accept the possibility that my judgement may be somewhat skewed as one who prefers Soloing content). And I’m definitely digging the roll on the HC I got (Rapid Hit + Closing Time); looking forward to seeing how the rest of the weapons feel once I get some copies to play with. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)
