Players, wtf are you doing this?
I have well over 12k hours in D2 just since Drifter season but haven't played in 6 months till today. Ran the exotic mission, got to the end and saw yet again the devs have ZERO creativity. Boss just slams and knocks you back 100ft over and over and over. The same its been for 10+ years. Logged right out.
My wonderment was when I checked here and saw all the posts to devs that have never read these forums about nerfs, buffs, crap writing, poor design etc. So why? Have they every listened to anything the players have said in 10 years? Why give them even a second of your attention at this point? Until the player counts hit rock bottom they will not respond and even then, I doubt they will. We all saw the presentation by them stating they dont have time to deal with your issues and all they will do is assembly line game creation. You are nothing but a credit card number and next quarters bottom line. That is it, plain and simple.
This entered maintenance mode in Beyond Light. Thats when they realized they could stop creating and start copying. Now they will cry because no revenue and jobs are going to go. Well too bad. Every person playing this game deals with that same potential every single day. Factories closing, businesses crashing etc so expecting pity when there was an active feedback loop to tell you what players wanted but you ignored it is just sad, no pathetic actually. They responded in seconds to the woke ideology that swept the US 2 years ago but cant fix yearlong bugs. They fix player benefiting bugs the same day but ignore game breaking bugs for years. They are so self-absorbed they couldn't even let the Dawning event stay free and instead opted to screw they 20 people who did buy it over. All they give any damn about is money and that is it.
So you made your bed, now lay in it.
I beseech the players that still login to go play something else. Let them bask in the wonderful world they created for themselves. Do not support a company that has done nothing for you except take. There are many options out there and companies that will welcome you.
Bungie it appears you all missed your own damn subway and got left in 2014.

2 RepliesI’m convinced 95 percent of the players playing now have Stockholm syndrome or are trying to stick around until things get better. More so the second but that number is dropping more and more every day.

9 RepliesThe entire premise of revenant story structure was responding to player feedback. They obviously listen. The playerbase is simply too diverse to ever make progress that everyone wants. There is absolutely nothing that bungie can do to please all of its players, acting like reading a cesspool like this that's only good for laughing at as reasonable feedback is delusional. How can someone have so many hours in the game and not see the changes made from player feedback? If you want to quit, do it. Don't go making poor excuses so you can get likes on a forum for a game you don't play.

I logged in after a few weeks away, played the mission the required 3 times. Got my solo flawless done, realised I wasn't inspired to play anymore. Tonics ain't it, story is whatever, exotic mission is ok'ish but the rest of the game is the same as always, an every declining mess that Bungo refuses to acknowledge or remedy. Nothing to see here. Maybe I'll be back later when they give me something meaningful to play and a reason to play it. I can only hope.
