Community is terrible in this game. Edit: overreaction to annoyance
This game has to have the worst community. I just spent 2 hours doing Iconoclasm while 2 other people were clearly griefing the entire time. One person was trying to get me to do the mechanics while he just sat behind a pillar. And then we proceeded to die repeatedly because they just weren’t trying to engage and every time we died they’d just tbag in front of me. And then they kicked me. Happened twice tonight.
Uninstalled. Was already at that point but I’m never coming back. So have fun new players with this great player base. I’d rather take my chances back in WoW.

2 RepliesSo you quit because you made a choice to play with randoms, and when they weren't helping or just started t-bagging, you still made the choice to stay until they kicked you. Why wouldn't you just make your own fire team finder post for the mission and then invite people. That way, you'd have control over who is in the team or not.

I was doing the co-op version. The reason I stayed so long is because the mission previous we got to the boss and then the person either quit out or kicked everyone. The second time when we got to the boss and I thought they just didn’t really know the mechanics for a bit. Idk I should’ve left sooner but I’d already spent like an hour and half and didn’t really want to try again. I’m on PlayStation. I have a pc but have never tried it. No I don’t actually think most are terrible. I’ve certainly had some annoying encounters as of late but there’s a lot of factors involved, including the game’s potential user decline. Maybe everyone is somewhat as frustrated as me idk

After that he left I still think about him during especially lonely nights…

The dude just died, killed nothing, and in the end, told me I was bad. When I had more than the 3x of his kills and died 4x less than him. Not to mention his crap stats and weapons. When he said he saw my stats on the D2 tracker I got curious and checked this "ultra pro". I have more kills, fewer deaths, and completed more stuff on pve overall than him with less total playtime. WTF is wrong with these people? So far, don't bother, some people are -blam!-. Ignore and see if you can play with friends or clanmates. It will make your experience way better for sure.

I wouldn't put up with that for 5 seconds. Just leave and find some better teammates. There is no shortage of people out there.

39 RepliesAh yes because your two experience of trolls is a better judgement than my decade of playing the game. I used all forms of lfg minus PlayStation, if they have one, and can count on one hand how many toxic people I’ve ran into. If you want to meet the toxic side of the game, just spend time on this forums since everyone here like to spread lies and swear at anyone -blam!- enjoys the game. Outside here, it’s super rare to find bad people.

I regret your experience. And apologise on behalf of these suckers. There are a few a.holes around in this game like in other games as well as in real life. But majority of player base are good, nice, helpful and reasonable people. Like in real life. The light always succeeds.
