Post-match kills still count toward Triumphs, Quests, Trackers, Catalysts, Seasonal Challenges and Pathfinder Nodes. So you get to decide whether you want to potentially help another player by giving them an easy point toward progress after it no longer affects the outcome or if you prefer to defend yourself to maintain your KDA for another handful of seconds. Everyone should line up on each side after the game and walk towards each other giving each other a high five, then we'll all get snacks and juice after a good game. Certainly none of this shooting each other business, that's just not sportsman-like and uncivilized. We should also settle these matches with a good debate over popular topics. In all seriousness, any kills after a game has been called have never mattered on the scoreboard previously, so if it currently is then we just need to wait for Bungie to fix it. You can also hide or keep slaying out, depending on your play-style.

I can't be sure on this, but I believe some triumphs continue to tally Guardian kills after the match is officially over which is why some players probably do so. That or they're trigger-happy idiots, could go either way. Whatever the case may be, it doesn't affect the score so I wouldn't stress over it.

to be fair guns have a tendency to misfire i dont think its intentional and maybe the gun is misfiring i highly doubt other players would engage in such abusive and toxic behaviour by attacking other people after the game has concluded bungie needs to make a change where all guns lose ammo and are pointed down maybe even give us more time to move around so we can all do hug emotes to each other as a way to congratulate our opponents on such a good game because crucible is just training and we all need to be friendly to each other because were all guardians and fighting against if youre reading this I hate you the evil baddies together thats just what i think i hope one day bungie makes changes to the crucible so its a more positive place where we can all hug it out and smile
