Remove supers and heavy from Comp and Trials.
There's literally zero skill in using either and somehow my teammates ALWAYS keep their supers for what seems like next game anyways, shoutout to that garbage arc titan who held his thundercrash the entire game and we lost because he let them cap the zone in comp, EVEN THOUGH THERE SHOULD NOT BE A ZONE AT ALL.

1 ReplyHappened to me to was tied on final round the pooed a bubble on cap. I trained with a super was 2v2. I was watching my teammate go the “Long” way round the map searching for hidden chest or something…? The 3rd was behind a wall doing nothing but let them cap while holding an arc Titan super. We lost cos they capped and both my teammate took super to orbit. After game I realised he was 1700 power 🙄

I agree with removing heavy, but not supers. Then people would just switch to classes with the best neutral game, Strand/Void hunter, Void titan still, Stasis/Solar Warlock. Nothing would really change lmao. Just nerf the cooldown on well and bubble and call it a day.

Edited by hate n payne: 5/5/2024 5:17:38 PMTrials need to be what the name intends. It should be a trial for you to go through it. First match, maybe it is all close range weapons. Second match, maybe you got more abilities. 7th match, no special ammo or supers. Trials should be a game mode of PVP with modifiers that grant nobody any strengths but all the weaknesses. Each modifier should change the loadouts for each team. If you decide to do a loadout given by the modifiers for a different modifier, you should be rewarded with additional loot.

Maybe with grenades and Hunter dodge but not class abilities for the other two because they don't reflexively use their class abilities like hunters do. I didn't even think I dodged that much until I played hardware. Always considered myself a non-dodging hunter. Balancing the matches based on supers in trials is kind of old feeling at this point and there really isn't a reason for heavy. In my most of matches it usually seems like the team that's already going to win gets it.

1 ReplyRemove zones and objectives. The spud field is too daft for these concepts. Gate low levels. They don't do anything but sabotage. Everything else is fine.
