Agreeing to not buy that crap is useless because the people who already don't buy will continue to NOT buy, and the people who don't understand that armor is $20 and not earnable BECAUSE they continue to give Bungie $20 every time, will continue to give Bungie $20.

What they WILL notice is a drop in players during solstice.

I’m not playing this tired -blam!- activity this year and I sure as hell am not buying that god awful armor/glow set. This is the worst activity of the season by far. An absolute snooze fest.

Boycotting will do nothing if you keep engaging on things like the forums, the only thing that will get a message through is not interacting with the game at all, direct quote from a business lead at bungie "bad reviews and negative feedback will not change anything about this game, the only thing that will is apathy, that's what kills a game is when people stop talking about it and stop engaging with it"

You are still preaching to the choir. This game has hundreds of thousands of concurrent players, of which MAYBE 10% of are even conscious of the issue at hand, so even if you get every single one of them to boycott you arent making any significant change. Youre gonna get maybe a couple thousand people to actually boycott and bungie wont even notice

I had 145,000 bright dust in my inventory and figured I would see what it's good for. I got a sparrow. Whoopie. I probably won't do much of the solstice thing. It seems its all about grinding to improve the armor. I mean, don't we do that sh*t every damn season as it is?

I really wasn't planning on buying anything for silver either way and was just going to play the game but then half the mods on my arms slot got disabled while I was in the middle of build crafting and I refuse to get back on Destiny until their fixed.

I have been playing destiny pretty much exclusively since the D1 beta. I have never spent one penny on anything cosmetic in this game. Granted I have bought every expansion so they’ve got my money from that lol.
