Why is it Hunters keep getting trash "glasscanon" supers... the neutral gameplay for hunter Strand is somewhat descent, but I consequently refuse to pop my silkstrike super, cause it's a death sentence in pvp...
Stasis warlocks with 3 homing instant freeze snow balls and a pocket nuke gets more DR, same goes with voidlock... and even a nova bomb warlock is protected by the nova bomb it self...
Hunter supers are so lackluster... like literally useless in pvp in most cases.

Nova is a bad example. Warlocks can be killed from full health by their own nova being either shot and destroyed, or clipping a wall or wire. But the rest is accurate

6 RepliesJust run golden gun. Stupid high aim assist and stupid high uptime

5 RepliesEdited by Kiro - 13: 7/14/2023 11:06:08 AM-Silkstrike has more damage reduction then Silence & Squall. -Silence & Squall can bug and not even go off(the picks will infinity spin on the ground and never detonate.) -Silence & Squall will get stuck on terrain, walls, doors ways, or not even track. So it could be way worse, imagine activating golden gun then the gun instantly jams and the super is cancelled. Thats literally what can happen for the hunters stasis super.

3 RepliesAs far as I can tell all of the Strand supers have 50% DR which is about the lowest you can go aside from Golden which has 0% though I can't remember which one had 0% and which had I think 40%. Most supers have 55%+ and 50% I believe is just low enough that a single shotgun shot is capable of killing. In my opinion aside from Well all supers with 50% dr should be increased to 55%

1 ReplyThe forums are a big culmination of hunters saying warlocks are op and warlocks saying hunters are op and titans saying hunters and warlocks are op lol

1 ReplyStasis Hunter super is worse.

Bruh, I oneshot a golden gunner by shotgunning them when frozen. Another hunter crying.

Hunter have the best supers in the game

Yeah I tend to avoid even activating supers like Silkstrike or Spectral Blades (especially Spectral), since I’m usually better off not using them. If I do activate them it’s when there’s an really opportunity, a last resort situation, or I just feel like playing around with the supers because the look cool and there isn’t much at stake. Silkstrike just can’t do anything to anyone that jumps, and Spectral blades just got nerfed too many times to be a good option (super regeneration tiers don’t help either).

6 RepliesExcept it has the best roaming super mobility and great range.

Rhe on only thing I would change is the auto aim on light attacks. Let me aim it so i can actually hit something. The auto aim has like 10 degrees of vertical tracking making it not relaible whenever there is even a small altitude difference. Then you could swing atound and kill people from the air and the low dr wouldn't matter. As is you have to swing over to a person and suspend them with a slam or waiy for your character to float to the ground near an opponent so you can hit 'em which doesnt feel very fun or smooth.

My problem with it is hit detection. It seems to not lock on to players meaning it constantly just fires close to players but unless you’re really lucky then it will hit. Sometimes it will even randomly just strike at nothing to your right or left disorienting the user and getting you killed. So useless in pvp.

The light attack has decent range but that’s about it and for the heavy attack it sometimes doesn’t even kill.

Lol silkstrike is the new nova warp 🤣🤣

2 RepliesYeah, neutral game on strand hunter is great but I actually laugh anytime I hear someone pop a silkstrike. feels like it has negative dr
