It is. And he tells it as he sees it. And he is spitting facts, and it hilarious and sad too.

3 RepliesStop spending money in Eververse is always the answer to this. I literally have spent money in eververse two times in the entire life of Destiny (less than $20 US in total) and I have nearly every single ornament I could ever want. If they stopped making a massive amount of money off of it, it would change. I play Destiny as a hobby and get more than enough entertainment value out of the expansion and seasons for that money… but unless I get really impressed by the end of the saga, I will not be supporting Bungie again.

This whole concept of people getting paid from Bungie pumping out content is very interesting. It's almost as if careers have been built from teeny tiny mini microtransactions.

8 RepliesWhy watch someone talk about what has been talked about for years and is literally in front of everyone's eyes? Giving someone views perhaps?
-
3 RepliesSeriously? Hell!!! I’ve never felt the need to buy anything, what’s the point if it doesn’t help your game play? Sorry, I don’t get it.
-
Yea it has been bad for a while. It went down hill fast when they switched to the maximum monetization model to double dip (no the game is not and has not been F2P). So many people in here saying “we know and we’ve been talking about it”. Yeah. And every time these valid points are brought up, the Scumgie shills shut it down. That’s why it’s nice to actually see someone larger in the community call them out on their blatant greed. Yes destiny has hit pay to win. Yes they increased the cost. No the quality has not improved. In fact it became significantly worse. Events are solely for cosmetics. And they can’t even copy/paste the event activity without breaking something.

Not a big Aztecross fan but will say its definitely worth the watch. He brings up some good points and points out issues that a lot of the community is beginning to notice

5 RepliesNot worth a watch He stretch reality and talk about a subject he didn't inform himself His examples are cherry picked and just falses

My opinion is this, 90% of stuff in the shop is shite, I have earned enough bright dust to purchase anything in the 10 percent left I like. season pass covers the dungeons, I don't buy season ranks, I slowly earn them. Everything right now is all a choice, if you don't buy season pass then you should be charged for a dungeon access. No I haven't watched the video, has I don't support content creators on twitch, so I don't fully know the content of the video. Far as I can tell from playing destiny everything is a choice in terms of ornaments, season ranks and dungeon access. I generally have a positive experience when I play, obviously there is work to be done in some areas maybe they will or maybe they won't fix things maybe they will charge for access to stuff or maybe the season pass will continue to cover everything. Other than that it's their company their game and they will do what they want with it regardless. This is how it will go. I play the game for me not for bungie.

6 RepliesListened to the vid and lmao. He stretched a lot of things to try to fit his narrative. Ex: No, d2 is not pay 2 win. His example of quicksilver doesn't help when the weapon is not the same as it was then; also, it was disabled a good amount of the time lol. Another ex: paying to skip the campaign isn't pay to win when you still have to do the campaign on 1 character to get that option. Currently, the micro transactions in the game fall into 2 categories: 1. cosmetic; 2. people that can't/ don't wanna play the game a lot, but still want levels to get season pass stuff. That's it. Which is fine.

5 RepliesEdited by Jvp WReNCh: 6/20/2023 3:18:48 PMDid something happen to eververse recently? Why is everyone sharing this video?

1 ReplyBump!

2 RepliesLul. Mans gonna make that video acting like he doesn't already have a -blam!- ton of investment into Silver and still streams the new piss poor overpriced content almost daily. That video is understatement of the past like, 3 or 4 years. Where was this attitude when they started pulling this nonsense way back when? Talk about too little too late. The bootlickers always get pissy when their viewer count goes down. Soon as The Final Fail releases and viewer count goes back up a bit, he'll be happy as a lark. Same as all the rest

Agreed and upvoted

4 RepliesIt's a bit late for this. People should have been making their thoughts on microtransactions known long before D2 ever went F2P.
-
Kinda late to the party? Saw this coming back from D1.
-
1 ReplyEverything he said was right, though he did sugar-coat a lot of it.
-
Nah. Microtransactions are the way forward. All cosmetic items should have always been sold this way. 👍

4 RepliesI recall players whining when a streamer talks about something getting buffed, nerfed, or changed. Aka Divinity Just comical....
