Came back to destiny a few weeks ago and noticed my IGN was (Guardian#xxxx) so I went to Bungie.net and used my 1 name change to make it my old username.
Well today I log in to Destiny 2 and see that my name has been reverted to a form of (Guardian#xxxx) and when I go to Bungie.net it says I have already used my name change and am unable to fix this>
Seriously bungie... WTF.
Never had an issue with this before, until the cross save crap was implemented. I have played this game and its prior for years and I swear to god I wont be playing as Guardian#xxxx.
If any mods can get me in touch with customer service; as elusive as they are, it will be much obliged.
Thank you

8 RepliesHey there. A name reset back to Guardian#XXXX generally means a code of conduct violation. So someone at Bungie has reviewed your name and reset it. As you said, you've already used your one name change on something which may have turned out to be inappropriate. What was the name you changed it to?

2 RepliesThere is no "customer service" number or email address. There is these forums. Your tag broke the games code of conduct or was offensive to some or all the community. Bungie moderated your tag by changing it to the generic "Guardian" tag. You then wasted your ONE tag change by trying to get your old tag back which was again moderated. Maybe sometime in the distant future Bungie will provide a second chance to change your tag but you will have to pick a different one if they do.
