Thats how gravity works.
We are above earth.
Thats not how gravity works and even then we would fall towards the earth which isn’t the case, also inertia is a factor since we are in orbit we would also enter a orbit unless we use a force to propel us out of it
God bless kerbal space program
No, he's right, please look for my post for further explanation, this is in fact how gravity works.
No its literally not and many works show this.
Earth is to our left if we fell down we would not be falling towards earth.
So literally their own reasoning isn’t true
To quote Neil deGRasse Tyson.
"The film #Gravity should be renamed "Angular Momentum""
Don't worry, I know you're right at least. Then again I spend far too much of my time thinking about things like what it would be like to observe being drawn into a black hole, the nature of time, etc....
My pet peeve has always been that everyone, every science book, every movie, even Nasa itself portays the sun as being redish, orange, or yellow, usually some combination of the three. Technically it's inaccurate to say the sun is "white" because blah blah blah emits the full range of the electromagnetic spectrum including all visible light... We just tend to call that color white c.c... Either way it's not yellow (atleast not only yellow) and it drives me crazy that people are willing to just publish misleading images because kids get told the sun is yellow in kindergarten.
*Nasa usually puts a note somewhere that the image has been colorized to show detail, which is a fair enough point. *
