If you all could remove pvp from the game and make it a stand alone thing away from pve that would be most ideal.
However, since the chances of that are slim to none, how about you all actually balance the 3 classes and their subclasses to be on an even playing field. You all designed hunters specifically for pvp giving them an unfair advantage across almost all their subclasses leading to hunters woefully outnumbering titans and warlocks 2:1. On top of that, anytime warlocks get something that performs on par with hunters it's nerfed in days. Whenever titans and hunters have something that causes massive frustrations, you all take a year minimum to tune them down. Hunters turn every aspect of the game into easy mode. For a studio that hates when things "trivialize content " it's extremely hypocritical of you all to have hunters be so overwhelmingly dominant for so long.
Not to mention warlock nerfs are exceedingly more heavy handed than anything titans and especially hunters ever get. Stop playing favorites and balance the 3 classes equally so that skill can take precedence in exchanges over cheesy get out of jail free cards.
Another thing you all need to tackle is your pitiful matchmaker. Skill based matchmaking is only good when the teams are actually evenly balanced. Adding freelance to every mode would be a great start towards more balanced lobbies. Specialty modes like team scorched could also be expanded to include similar modes you all featured in halo (team rockets, team snipers, big team battle, scouts and sidearms only, ect ect.) New not recycled, bigger maps would also be most refreshing. You all reuse too many things and it gives the impression of laziness and lack of creativity.
For those special few people that hate abilities, add a bare bones mode that way you call can rework ability cooldowns so that all 3 classes have similar cooldowns with their super, melee, and class abilities. Hunters having the fastest cooldowns across the board in those areas is not fair and only adds to the frustration of facing so many of them in the crucible.
Exotic quests/catalysts shouldn't force people into pvp ever. Having it as an option for faster progress is fine, but having a step where pvp is the only way to progress is not.

A clear example of somebody that has no idea of what they're talking about. For the past 8 months since I picked destiny back up, twabs have been littered with hunter nerfs because of people like you. The only viable option hunters have for pvp is golden gun. Yeah they have a lot of exotics that are "supposed" to be helpful with viability only to get nerfed with the next patch notes. Stompees, nerfed... gyrfalcon... nerfed... omnioculous, nerfed... liars handshake, nerfed... blight ranger, nerfed... and the list goes on. We also have absolutely no way to heal or shield ourselves from enemy fire. Yes we have wormhusk, but it doesn't heal that much and it's not continuous like a healing rift/well of radience or like a titan bouncing in and out of his barackade/bubble shield. I can die by somebody blinking at me the wrong way while im rocking 100 res. Your argument is invalid. I'll see you in class next week.

Lie to yourself but don't lie to me. All that and yet hunters are still the most broken class in the game outside of seasonal gimmicks like loreley, heart of inmost light. Nerfing, temporarily disabling exotics is mot the same as nerfing the class/subclass itself. Hunters are constantly getting "adjusted" in some way shape or form and still the most overused class in the game bar none. Never have hunters gotten a nerf as heavy handed as nova warp or shadebinder. No amount of "bUt MY eXoTiCs wERe dIsAbLeD" will change that. Chaos reach, dawnblade, and storm trance have been needing buffs forever. What does bungie do? A cooldown reduction and a suction increase. Nothing addressing the core issues making warlocks bad outside of well and turrets. Meanwhile hunters can easily cheese flawless trials, solo the most difficult gms with the greatest of ease, have infinite ability uptime simply by using them no exotics required. The list goes on. You tried it and failed. Thank you, next.

Sounds like you don't know how to use storm trance. I've used it plenty & if you're surrounded, and cast it, the initial burst will flat out annihilate everyone surrounding it. This is coming from someone who has only been playing Destiny for 8 months.....
-
And I'm someone who's been a warlock for 8 years. Not even storm dancers brace gives storm trance the damage it needs to be useful in any meaningful end game content. Crown of tempest is the best exotic storm trance has and it still falls woefully short of every other super in the game except the pitiful dawnblade. We don't even get anything from being amplified. You need a few more years of experience before you get a clue of what you're talking about young neophyte.
-
Oh well 8 years, you should know how to work around all the changes right? So why are you complaining? Heck, I don't even use crown of tempest, I use getaway artist & guess what, I'm still good with the game... soooo.... doesn't matter how long you have played the game, it's about knowing how to use what you got to your advantage. & if you can't do that, clearly that's a lack of the problem-solving skill.

The only lie spoken in my post is my namesake. And since you want to go this route all my subclasses are getting a nerf besides deadshot. Blade barrage is getting a nerf golden gun is getting a nerf mobious is getting a nerf the new arc super came nerfed our abilities don't really have constant uptime as you say and since you do want to say everyone has the option to build into their abilities for constant uptime since modes aren't class specific yet you still cry about how your IQ isn't high enough to figure that point out and the reason you might think the way you do is because hunter take up over have the majority player database go figure. Guess what If I get killed by a hunter 9 times out of 10 it's because there's a lot of hunters not because they have infinite ability spam. As you were blueberry.
-
Sis...you think golden gun is a hunters only viable option in pvp like there aren't thousands of invis hunters hopping all over the place. Have several seats and get your facts straight before even daring to have the temerity to defend anything hunters have in my presence. The fact that hunters even have so many exotics to get nerfed while warlocks are stuck with the same 4 or 5 for years should give you a clue of the disparity between warlocks and hunter not to mention titans. I'll say this one more never have hunters gotten a nerf as heavy handed as nova warp and shadebinder and especially never as quickly. 5, 10, 15, 20 minor "nerfs" still don't equal what was done to nova warp and shadebinder which needed multiple buffs just so people would even use them in patrols and basic seasonal content for shits and giggles.
-
Still hung up those 2 supers? Bro people don't even like nova warp what incentive is there to use it when you have a cataclysmic bomb that destroys everything it touches its obviously going to be the go to in the void walker subclass and with shadebinder what easier way for a roaming super to get kills then to fly around freeze an opponent then detonate/repeat at least my squal moves slow enough for literally everyone to just run away. I don't like saying this because it's a pretty shitty response but guess what? Time to get gud homie.
-
Yet both nova bombs deal piss poor damage to bosses and majors in gms and master raids/dungeons. Nova warp is an add clearing super but has too many steps for most people. A duration or damage buff would make people want to use it. Shadebinder is only good for its turrets. Stasis is counter productive when trying to deal with overload champs as freezing them undoes the stun. The super is trash tier damage and also has way too many steps to justify being an add clear super. Your best bet is Agers Scepter with mantle of battle harmony. I say again, get your facts straight before trying to come at me "bro".
-
I use nova bomb cataclysm for damage its actually pretty damn good. I have all 3 classes with some kind of build on them and hardly ever die when I use the warlock or titan but die all the time on my hunter mostly by those damn architects. How about trying I different class since you're obviously no good at being a warlock main.
-
Yes, heart of inmost light is a ”gimmick”, definitely not the best exotic in the game
-
It won't be as potent next season as it is now...same with how loreley isn't as potent now as it was last season. Thank you, next.
-
No reasoning as well, really setting the bar low here for effort
-
Look at why it's so good now and look at the upcoming changes. They do this every season.
-
& another thing, I've seen so many drastic changes to my warlock that I feel unstoppable when using my void class. I've played as a warlock for 8 months now & have yet to see any type of changes for warlock other than the fact that are lowering the cooldown time for stasis super. I think you are grabbing at the wrong strings here & really need to look at it from all angles. Play as a hunter for like 2 weeks, guarantee, you change your mind.
-
Apparently you don't play as a hunter. I've played as all characters & mostly play as a warlock. Over the past 8 months, I went from being horrible to beast at pvp. I went one match where I was the only one on a point in control & no one was able to take me down. So if you think it's unfair to play against hunters lol then clearly you haven't played against someone who knows how to use their warlock class hahaa
