I cant even play pvp anymore cos you did that when i could play it befor but not anymore cos i get -blam!- -blam!-. Thank you for showing that your only in it for the top players and the little guy get -blam!- on from a great highet
-
162 RepliesCrucible sucks -blam!-. And the only people who say otherwise are Jonny sweats a lot who want to keep punching down for stats instead of playing people their own skill. F those clowns.
-
another bottom tier player asking for sbmm trust me it not gonna help you what you need is some kind of noop players protection
-
Git gud
-
11 RepliesDefinitely not. Your incompetence does not entitle you to a segregated safe space.
-
Dude u don’t even play the skill based matchmaking modes . Stfu

Edited by Illuminary: 6/28/2022 1:34:04 PMThere are two sbmm modes already in the game. These turn on sbmm posts are boring, contrived, lazy, and tired. Go play the sbmm modes for f@cks sake and stop whining. Most of the people that want sbmm want carries in trials anyway so elim would be the perfect place for you guys to practice against others your level. Signed a sh!t tiered pvper.

3 RepliesMaybe its time you learn to be like the “top players” and get good. There are many games designed for you, pvp is already easy mode, if you want to slay then go kill some pve enemies or simply get better.
-
Absolutely not. Incompetence is not entitled to pandering. If you're upset with your performance work on your skills and don't expect the game to hold your hand. Pathetic and embarrassing.

3 RepliesEdited by MasterProtector: 6/27/2022 2:50:22 AMAfter reading a lot of the comments and ignoring the overwhelming and rather bland troves of toxic players repeating the same tired old rhetoric, there is one glaring problem with this whole thread that cannot be overlooked. Regardless of where you stand on the SBMM or cbmm issue, one overarching theme that has been prevalent throughout every system is that…. None of them ever actually worked as intended. No matchmaking system on either side or hybrid there of has ever actually been properly executed, this can be found through historical complaints on all systems, and while I’m not about to go spending several hours digging up info to broad link each segment of matchmakings history, those of us that remember each one know that there was precedent for each system failing magnanimously. I fail to see the point in arguing for a system to be used when you will only see failure in execution. A comprehensive matchmaking system that will embody both sides of the community and effectively balance them in both aspects is not only hard to achieve in itself, but any system that has been attempted within this game has been in short, a let down. I also cannot grasp the logic behind the “get better” crowd, sure everyone, even higher tier players can improve, but only to a point, minding physical or mental restrictions, averages exist for a reason, the top 1% wouldn’t exist if everyone was “just as good” it takes the other 99% existing for that metric to to be possible, remember that in the future.

11 RepliesHell yes bring it back. Qp is so Bad at the Moment

7 RepliesThey wont go back to SBMM because it effects the streamers that Bungie depends on to advertise the game. Just have to modify your play style to something that works for you. I used to be able to do Ok with DMT until they nerfed it into the ground. At this point I still cant find a weapon that works for me so I feel your pain.

Nothing scares a D2 pvp player more than fighting someone at their skill level. The most pathetic thing about all of this? Their identity is tied to their KD. If you took a whiff of their gamer chair you would vomit. It is strange. These same losers complain about how woke Bungie is, but their entire attitude would change if they showered, lost some weight, brushed their teeth, and left their parents basement. Not to mention the streamer sycophants that bend over to -blam!- for the loves of their life. They would keep this potentially great game stuck as the joke that it is.
-
I don't think they do it. Because streamers will be crying again and they have to play against people with same skill. No more carries or stomping newbies is hurt their ego.
-
So instead of forcing a type mm onto each other lets get options that let you choose. Like in old halo(idk if the new one has it). Cbmm is good for most ppl. Crossplay kinda trew a wrench into the stable connections, but this can be fixed on your own end but expect longer mm times. Sbmm was bad for ppl that primarly play pvp, every match feels like a tournament. You cant have fun and are forced to play the meta. Connections are awefull and you lose gunfights not because of skill but because of connections. Its like being punished for being decent at the game. It made me quit, so i asume many others as well. Also whats with the weird obsession of blaming streamers and youtubers, i dont get it. Its more like a easy scapegoat to blame instead of being willing to look for a better answer.

12 RepliesDidn't the community literally beg for Bungie to remove it? Now y'all are begging them to add it back? Sheesh, y'all can't make up your minds.
-
1 ReplyBungie have definitely messed with matchmaking this season that’s for sure.
-
2 RepliesThe population has dropped to the point they use "Anyone Still Playing" matchmaking, not SBMM or CBMM. If they had Regional Dedicated Servers then we could talk about "Skill". As it stands now, it's: "He/She that lags the most will be the Crucible King/Queen"..

Game is broken. They know it. And they are clueless on how to fix it! 😂😂😂 Look what they did recently. They are desperate themselves. I mean they can't fix it. Look at what they did this season. They are so clueless on what to do, they have to cover up which platform gamers are using so you can't see theirs when crossplaying each other! It's laughable!😂😂😂 That was their fix! 😂😂😂 Laughable!!!
-
God only knows what Bungie are doing with matchmaking but it’s completely off this season really xxxxxx up.
-
3 RepliesThe fact that people take this games pvp seriously is hilarious. Its always been a joke. Bet the so called "elites" get their aşses clapped in games like rainbow six siege or CSGO that require real skill. Destiny was never meant to be a competitive shooter so saying that your extremely good at it and running around flexing your stats is laughable

Poll for anyone interested (CBMM or SBMM): https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/261333412/0/0

Connection > skill
-
They did this b4. It was -blam!-. Never again. It just caters for low skill PvP players and is arguably bad for their development in the long run. You are supposed to have your -blam!- handed to you in PvP. It's apart of the the development process. You're supposed to bite down, watch some videos, recognise your mistakes, break through skill ceilings. Then take back that -blam!-. In fact take someone else's -blam!-. Then before you know you're knee deep in -blam!-. Personally. I really like -blam!-.
-
Yeaaaah how about no?

21 RepliesEdited by Vapor: 6/27/2022 12:14:45 AMYou played for the first time this weekend since March, stop. It's amazes me that people think they can step in to crucible after months and think they'll remotely hold up to the average player . This is comically bad.

Skill based matchmaking has failed every single time it's been tried. No. We are more than good with connection based.
