Say what you want but destiny 2 is a great game overall. I know we can give it slack and sure there are dry times but in all honesty its a really good game. Destiny (1) has a special place in my heart but destiny 2 was the game that made me meet more people and have more fun together. In d1 i was usually alone because i was really shy then but now im good. So now onto the topic at hand, ill split it to four topics, PvE, PvP, Raids and Trials. PvE: in my opinion pve is at its best that it ever was, a good meta, ghally is fun, fusions are fun, good ad clear weapons and overall balanced (seasonal mods usually make the meta). The thing they could make better are strikes, the lack of drops/loot is kinda sad considering d1 had skeleton keys and strike weapons/armor. Now nightfalls are fun and have good loot, gm's in particular are my favorite end game activity so thats why i like them so much. The seasonal content is cool and lore goes with it so its fun. Overall PvE is at a good state and is being improved all the time. PvP: i play this the most, whether it be 6's or trials, i play this a lot. There are tuneing to made and maps to be made/brought back, but one thing ive always accepted is that there will always be a 'meta', the best weapons to use in crucible. Thats how it is in all multiplayer fps games, they can nerf and buff but there will always be the 'meta'. Now if a gun can kill you from close, medium, far with 2 taps then its a problem (👀 dmt). But now even thats fixed and is still going to be very good. The problem i have is the lack of stuff to do/achieve in crucible, maybe ornaments to collect, exotic ghosts/sparrows/ships and in general crucible theamed weapons. I dont know how many have noticed but the ritual weapons are just rare/uncommon/legendary weapons with reskins, but they could make new looking weapons instead of reskins with new perks. So in general loot to collect, the pinnacle weapons were cool to get and took some time, which made them more rewarding, but some of them redifined the meta for a long time (👀mountaintop and recluse). But these weapons made a sense of achievement that gave us a feeling of proudness and like finally i have this weapon to shred in crucible with. But in general pvp is fun most of the time, but its really up to the players that use the meta constantly that annoy so many people. Raids: they are fun with amazing loot and a fun time with the right raid team, in my opinion raids have always been fun, d1 and d2, not much to say apart from them being fun and cool with the right team. And to those lfg's that kicked me out before i got the loot, screw you!!! Trials: perfect, dont touch it, add freelance to be permanent while there is the option to play with a team. Add labs once a month to make it intresting and its perfect, this is the trials people wanted. After daily reset on sunday flawless matchmaking goes on and people who are not that sweaty unlike me, can try and go flawless and have a fun time getting better and going flawless. We all give bungie some slack but in the truth is that this is prob the most hours we spent on a game. I know i have over 4500+ hours which isnt even a lot compared to some people.
