Unable to purchase Beyond Light Deluxe Upgrade on PS5?
Main account on the console bought Deluxe Beyond Light on launch, the alternate account has been able to play Standard Beyond Light through game share, but when attempting to upgrade to deluxe for access to S12-15, it wants the full $70 price.

The option to upgrade to the Deluxe requires that the account owns the license for Beyond Light. As the secondary account is only sharing the license from the primary account, and does not itself own that license, it is not eligible for the upgrade. That is why the secondary account is being given the full price for the Deluxe. You cannot upgrade something, that is not technically owned in the first place.
