Whoever is left are split into 3 or 4 platforms. They're hoping crossplay would change and alleviate this. It seems like it's not. If crossplay won't even make a difference, then it will be hopeless since nobody is coming back from those millions of gamers that left over the years. They are not coming back.

Yeah it honestly kills the desire to play the game. Almost every team Ive ran into was made of hunters thinking their hot -blam!- cause they jump corners into every encounter with a shotgun at the ready. Shame your post is filled with Ar-tard comments though

I love when match making puts you against the same team that beat you the first time in a close game five times in a row until you are given a mercy loss, then matches you too the same team again. WTF!!

The only thing matchmaking proves to me is that there really is nobody playing anymore. It always took me a long time to find matches and when I did get them, they were laggy garbage despite it being so called "Connection Based Matchmaking". Now with Crossplay I can see why. I played several matches in a row the past few days where I was literally the ONLY PS user in the entire lobby. Matchmaking was faster but the connections were still bumkiss.

Genuine question here. Remember that the Mercy Rule has changed so that it also ends matches that are foregone conclusions near the end. For example, it will end a game where the score is 70-5 because the teams were obviously not balanced. It will also end a game where the score is 110-55 (or thereabouts) because, even if the teams are balanced, the lead is too great for a realistic comeback. So, when people say "I got mercied X times in a row", which one are they referring to? The first one is bad matchmaking, but also primarily caused by sweaty 6-stacks who have nothing better to do with their lives. The second is more likely to be caused by individuals playing well or badly in one given match, which the system can't really be held accountable for.

6 RepliesMatchmaking has to try to be this bad. I'm at a 4.0 KDA in IB so far, yet like a 10% winning percent because I keep getting stuck with Teddy no thumbs on my team and ik supposed to carry them.

Only three ? So far I have around 20 matches , most of them shorter than 6 minutes ^^ Most matches are one side k/d of 3-6 the other 0,5-1 To the point where it’s hilariously funny ^^ lasted a titan with stormcaller , he had time to pop his super while I was frying him, and FoH me in my super .. yeah nothing shady here ^^

This one is the more problematic one......game fills the missing slots as the match progresses and before you know it you've joined mid match and got mercy ruled in seconds. Edit: I wasn't going to say this but seeing your replies to people provokes this. It's assumptive but normally what follows is the call for SBMM........as if that's going to make your life better. If you think SBMM is going to make things better for you. You're gravely mistaken. Your idea of "fair" isn't what the reality will be. You don't like sweat lords? You know the people around your KD will have their version of sweatlords right? Are you prepared to sweat every single game to beat your "equals" because that is the only way you're all going to win now.

Matchmaking is bad but this IB isn’t too bad this time. I had some games that were brutal but also some fun ones too even an overtime game at some point.
