Pvp players need more respect
Pvp players get no respect in the community. I think it's time to listen to the pvp community and not the pve community. The pve players have made the pvp side of the game worse because they want pvp a certain way so they can be good. Pve players should not have a say in pvp because they have no understanding of balance. They want things in the game that have no skill. It's time that the pve community sticks to making pve better so that way pvp players will play pve and pvp players to stick to pvp to make both sides of the game better. We should not listen to a pve player telling us what we need in pvp. Sorry to the pve community but yall are the ones contributing to making the game worse

PvP needs more respect. The game should try and make all modes appealing to all players. Crucible needs the most attention and needs to be rewarding for all players. A bigger PvP population is best all around, especially for the players who choose to isolate themselves to PvP only.

And you want respect when none given, I and many others paid for a game that a part of it is bad to miserable to play. Destiny PVP and PVE should be split. And costs to reflect such.

10 RepliesMaybe if pvpers played an actual competitive game with ranks and fair matchmaking they'd get more respect? People respect competitors like Tom Brady and Lebron James because they go against the best of the best, rather than whining that half of their games should be casual and relaxed and why can't they play against a jv team.

I really don't think you need to worry. PvP is a necessary chore that is dropped immediately upon completion. I left Destiny 2 before CoO dropped and didn't return until SoA because the co-op looter shooter was too biased toward PvP. I think the multi-player FPS genre really needs more games that aren't centered around PvP. Destiny seems to fit the bill nicely, though PvP is still forced upon completionists.

Granted, your argument doesn't even work since Bungie can tweak both parts of the game individually now. There is no such thing as a PvE player that plays PvP. That's just called a regular player that plays both sides of the game. Stop fishing for things to complain about.

Sorry but pvp in destiny does have no balance lol. It’s more about abilities than gunplay. Therefore it should not be taken seriously competitively. If you want a balanced experience then go play the many shooters out there that do pvp right
