Will it stay or Will it go what do you think?
Luke Smith added sunseting and volted 90% of destiny 2 now Luke Smith is not going to be director for destiny 2 form now on do you think we will see sunseting removed form the game and or get the volted content back

3 RepliesEdited by vitisku1: 2/24/2021 10:12:36 PMWe don’t know what level of creative control Smith and Noseworthy will retain over the game itself but I would imagine that his role in regards to D2 hasn’t changed. In other words, I think he’s just assumed more responsibilities, not replaced them. I don’t if you noticed, but Kevin Smith wasn’t replaced as Game Director, the role itself was replaced with rather ambiguous role of “General Manager”. To me that implies that his job is ensuring the smooth operation of the logistical and mechanical operation of the game, not anybody with any input to the actual creative direction or development of the game. In other words, I’m of the opinion that Luke Smith will continue to be primarily responsible for the creative and practical direction of everything in D2.

He is not going to oversee the day to day operations of the game, but he still will control the creative direction of the game.... ... as well as any spin-off books, TV shows, or movies. That is how much confidence Bungie has in Smith’s vision. They aren’t backing down. They are tripling-down on it.

6 RepliesProbably not. Sunsetting and the DCV were added in such a way that it wont be that easy ti put everything back. For the people that dont mind, thats cool. For people that do....

4 RepliesYear 1 locations were vaulted because of size but also because they were coded differently that Forsaken content. According to a twab, Bungie was literally running two games at the same time. Hence why load times were terrible and there were so many location glitches.
