I don’t think cheaters are really ever going to be a big problem on console. They exist, yes, but not really to any significant degree. You’ll scarcely ever actually met them. If at all.

Really feels like people are fabricating a “rampant cheating problem” that doesn’t actually exist because that’s what they heard from the streamers who only play trials, and now they call everyone in classic mix a cheater. Kind of sad

Fire Google: Search for cheats for this game. - A popular Chinese site comes up - Go on subscription page and there is a wait for the slot availability. - YouTube videos are available as proof. - It costs 100$ per month and works across all platforms. - It's based on proxy cheat and packet manipulation and works on console due to p2p architecture of game. How do I know about it and it it works? Someone I know uses it and I've reported him but he still carries in trials every week. Also reported but no response. Also, I am myself capable of making such cheats by profession. I can write realtime packet sniffles and repackage as the ones used by F5 security software, no problems. I can't be bothered. Is this technology real? Yes, look at F5 security offerings and you will know. It's in place on many real life systems.

There are those that cheat on console and on PC. Is it more likely on PC yes, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen on console.

I’m not saying that cheating doesn’t happen. But the chances of you bumping into it on console is astronomical, let alone bumping into it consistently.

But apparently Bungie doesn’t like when you deliberately put certain players on blast. Even if they are doing something wrong like cheating.
