2 RepliesBecause it’s an ability that hunters have. if your going to disable invisibility, you might as well just disable class abilities all together
-
Because 90% of Bungie employees are hunter mains...😈
-
I mean they are easy to see even though they are "invisible".
-
2 RepliesYou forgot the #satire tag! What’s next....removing jumping? Shooting?

22 RepliesIts allowed because crucibabies want an easy experience because they lack the skill to play the game otherwise. Its why nightstalker is the most used pvp subclass. So when you have all these players running the class, and crutching on the ability (this goes for all classes as well), and when a lot of them are streamers, simply fixing it for balance reasons isnt something that can be done. Its why hunters and locks got a ohk ability Its why titans got oem for as long as they did.

Because it's not that hard to spot someone whose invisible if you're paying attention? If you've played Halo, or fought the Fallen for long enough, you tend to notice that the environment doesn't bend for no reason.

Because it’s a cool ability and it doesn’t break the game, you can still see someone who’s invisible unless you’re blind irl.

1 ReplyEdited by thatdudeEd54: 8/2/2020 6:50:16 PMTrust me, id take Destiny invis than Halo invis anyday. Be happy you can faintly see a dim blue light on whiever went invis

1 ReplyWhy are barricades allowed? Why are rifts allowed?! invisibility isnt all the great to use and i use a hunter too.
-
Because it’s basically useless. And if you think otherwise you should go to spec savers
-
Because it’s not that good if you can see
-
3 RepliesSame reason titans can seismic smash/ shoulder charge, and warlocks can fly and shoot at the same time. Every class has something they can use to to their advantage. You just need to learn how to spot it and counter it.
-
Why are shoulder charge?
-
Not great on most maps. Annoying? Yes, but there are far better abilities.
-
I.....just....can’t....SEE....why ...this...:is..a...problem.....

3 RepliesEdited by RussellMania: 8/2/2020 4:08:28 PMIt really isn’t hard to stir up the Hunter mains, is it lmao? This has a been a problem in PvP since D2 launched. The main argument I’m seeing here is that an invis player isn’t that hard to see. That’s just a silly excuse. Is it hard to see? No, but you’re obviously harder to see than a normal player, and you don’t show up on your opponents’ radar. This is undeniably an advantage. While it isn’t a BIG advantage in isolation, and it’s no big deal fighting it a few times a match, the fact that it’s tied to an ability with a 9-second cooldown means players can literally be invisible for an entire match. That’s just ridiculous lol. TLDR: Invis doesn’t offer a huge advantage in an engagement, but because of its cooldown it offers a small advantage in EVERY engagement. That’s a problem, and that’s why OP asked why it’s so *prevalent*... He didn’t say the ability itself was too strong. Going invis with every dodge should at the very least require an exotic.

And corner crouching with a shotgun. 👌

Just wondering...
Because hunters are easy mode
-
Probably because it isn't very good
-
Its meh to be honest. It used to be broken on console because it broke aim assist. Now its just meh.
-
8 RepliesInvis isnt really invis in D2 and if you're having trouble seeing them you might just be blind
-
9 RepliesEdited by CookieNiki: 8/2/2020 5:04:31 PMDude, if you think invisibility (that it's VERY visible, btw) is in any way a game changer in PvP, then you are completely deluded.
-
2 RepliesSpace magic game. This game is not an e-sport...

Back in the early days of halo we never had radars at all.
Saying that just made my hair get grayer.
Remove Hunters.
