Can fix AFK farming quick but still no fix to sprint

346 RepliesWe haven't actually fixed the AFK farming yet, we had a server setting available that will stop AFK players from continuing to return to matchmaking so we deployed that while we work on a more permanent fix. The controller sprint issue requires an update to the game that we plan to deploy this week.

Lol they have to slow you down so you cant pick up engrams and they can disconnect you with their poor connection

Over the years I've played this game the amount of time and money I've spent on it is a LOT more than any other game yet for some reason it takes forever for small things like this moment control to get fixed... The community have literally been slating the forums for this to get fixed and nothing. I got told it would be fixed on reset, and here I am... Left disappointed again. But am I surprised....?

Impressive. Can't fix stuff like messed up sprinting but something like AFK'ing forges, Eververse changes gets fixed right away. It's such a joke...

Maybe they have reverted to a build from so far back in order to include VOG, and it predated and trumped (pun intended) unlimited sprint, and few players from those days are still around. Probly sold accounts on some occasions.

Bungie always fixing things that players use to get ahead fast but are slow to fix things that hinder players.

21 RepliesIf it's fun, doesn't hurt anyone, helps players, and cuts down useless/pointless playtime Bungie gets to it quick. If it's a mechanical problem we will get it fixed in a month or two.

Sprint probably requires that kind of fix, and those have to go through approval before they can be rolled out. That said the broken sprint is ridiculous and really needs to be fixed.

The sprint issue has made the game unplayable for me. If it isn't fixed this week, I'll be deleting the game for good.

Sprint isn’t broken for me. So thankful I don’t have to deal with it. I click sprint once and it’s works perfectly.

The other one is a server side fix. Of course the server side fix is faster since they don't need to update the client for that. Some knowledge about game developing might come in handy before posting rants. Don't know why everyone acts so surprised...

If that still hasn’t been fixed, and yet they put an axe to the AFK farming, that is so messed up. I’m not saying that AFK farming was a good thing, but it didn’t hinder players’ ability to simply move around the damn map. You’d think something like that would be addressed ASAP. The game has been unplayable for the entire first week of a new season for many people. I just can’t take Bungie seriously anymore. The glitches are happening with much greater frequency, and they do an extremely poor job in prioritizing fixes.
