Watercress list for Bungie

I just thought it might be helpful to get a list of all the players tags and what platforms that are affected by the watercress error. That way if they are trying to fix them individually it might make it easier for them. Feel free to add your gamer tags. Mine is darkangel6973.

  • GT: samuelshadow16 Platform: Xbox One Started happening early this morning. Game froze on me while in the tower. Now, when I pick my character, I'm stuck on a black screen and can't do anything. Eventually, I get watercress, and the game crashes. Please help.

  • Bungee tweeted a few days they were working with Xbox live to resolve watercress and this morning, can finally say I am able to play without getting booted.

  • Hi everyone, I don't know if this was already discussed anywhere but I didn't find it so I post it hoping it could help everybody. For starters I wanna apologize for my English since it's not my first language. Second I found (maybe) a solution, not the optimal but it's worth a try: 1) You need to try to reach the orbit (logging in on destiny 2 and after selected your character wait 2/3 minutes, if you get watercressed try to log-off and try again this could take a few attempts); 2) Launch an activity and : 2A) If your activity has no end (like going to the tower or an exploration on any planet or reckoning) BEFORE you go to orbit, Go on 3) . 2B) If your activity has an end (like an assault or a crucible match or raid, gambit) After you get the drop but BEFORE the screen of post-carnage (the one with with the countdown of the next activity/match) go to 3). 3) Close Destiny 2 using the XBOX button (the central button on your controller) and after selected Destiny2 with select press on "Close" and after that log-off from your account and then login again with that account and start Destiny2 (I didn't tested if this worked without the step of log-off and login) and now you should get to the orbit with no problem. But remember that watercress is not now fixed and you have to do step 2A or 2B (depending of wich activity you launch) for each single activity. This worked for me 99% of the time and I was able to do the weekly bounties "just fine". So I hope this can help everyone affected by this problem.

  • Xbox one gamertag: Sins of Giggity I am able to select my character then am able to play maybe 5 minutes before a black screen and when I try to reload to my character I'm stuck on an infinite black screen but can hear the menu pop up when I push the windows button or the menu button. Very irritating since it looks like I can forget about getting Not Forgotten if this isn't fixed

    • GT: Infidel76239 Console: Xbox One standard Watercress and Newt began April 9, 2020. Destiny 2 now an unplayable game. Given up trying any longer. All I wanted was the Heir Apparent and a ghost. Did not get to even play Forsaken story I paid for. Game was honestly taking too much of my time anyway. And that's life.

    • Hello guardians, hope this can help you with this horrible errors. Go to your settings account to the part where you see apps link to your account and unlink Twitch and other apps. I don’t know if this can help you. Hope it does and comment if you already try it or if it works. Regards from a watercressed guardian too
