I know it was in D1 and i adored Trials but LL advantage in the crucible is unnecessary and unbalanced in the first place. REMOVE IT BEFORE THIS LAUNCHES PLEASE.

7 RepliesThe way I see it, Trials is an endgame mode for PvP. Kind of like raids are for PvE. I’m sure very few people would step into a raid under-leveled and expect to find success. Trials had been known to be making a comeback for some time now, so there has been an opportunity for people to increase their LL during this time. For PC specifically, this will be a good thing as cheaters have more to lose if they get caught.

1 ReplyIts gonna be fine.

I think its a great idea .im telling everyone to level up and practice sniping for when all the people come back for trials!!!!! Is that good?
-
3 RepliesTrials should be a pvp endgame event and absolutely should be power level enabled. We have enough PvP events to play at a "even" levels. PvP has very little to work towards, trials will now give something to work towards. Please don't dumb down trials before it even starts (again)

I know it was in D1 and i adored Trials but LL advantage in the crucible is unnecessary and unbalanced in the first place. -
Light level advantage IS a good thing imo as it’s another incentive to level up. What ISNT a good thing is the artifact giving extra levels, you’d have the super dedicated that play 24/7 that have a HUGE advantage over everyone else, I mean a 40+ level advantage and that’s it both players are at the maximum pinnacle level
-
1 ReplyLL advantage is fine just like it was in D1. Artifact levels contributing to your level advantage however are not fine for PvP. That wasn't in D1. If they allow the artifact to count in Trials, it won't be worth trying unless you no-life the game to get your artifact level up.

1 ReplyHahaahahahha!

2 RepliesI wish light level mattered in pve
-
Light level needs to exist, but they have to do it right. There needs to be a cap. After 10 levels above the other player, no more multiplier. Or get rid of it entirely and put a light cap on people.

6 RepliesPiss off... start grinding

27 RepliesNaw just remove pvp, it’s cancer to this game.
-
So light level shouldn't matter in competitive play? Did I miss something?
-
Imean in d1 everyone was max light anyway so it held no value. In ttk and roi you had the a occasional low level but it wasnt normal. With artifact levels it more who has more free time to grind bounties.

4 RepliesA million of these posts and it tells me something and I hope it tells Bungie something. Player engagement in the game is at an all time low. The thing they fear most is having to engage with the game in order to level up to be in there when it comes to Trials. That is a sad statement.

1 ReplyEdited by FdYAcsoyPKN83gLE: 2/26/2020 3:20:12 PMI agree. It would be like taking a dive into concrete instead of water. No one wants that to be their first experience in a season's activity at launch. *cough* *cough* Black Armony

18 RepliesSays the guardian at 950 light! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
-
5 RepliesIts fine as long as there is a reasonable cap like 960.
-
Why? Bungie can't make changes to it now. This product is ready to ship. You wont see any potential changes for at least a few months.
-
Entirely no, I'd agree with a stop at the hard cap.
