Everyone runs from chasing supers or kill them , they all got dmg resistance nerf. Maybe your just bad at it

While I agree Warlocks are not the best class for PvP, they are still decently viable. I think the health of the supers are fine, but I would make some major changes to Nova Warp for sure. For one, I think when you pop your Nova Warp, it should have a similar effect as Landfall. You should do a max charged explosion to deal with people rushing you. I also think if you're fully charged and someone kills you, the explosion should go off and kill anyone within the normal radius of your explosion. This would deter most of the people from shotgun rushing you. Stormcaller is pretty good if you are using the tree that gives you blink while in super, the other one is pretty easy to shut down, although I'm not sure if Landfall is a one hit kill when you activate it. Dawnblade is ok. The tree with Phoenix Dive is pretty worthless, now and the recently "buffed" tree is pretty good. The reason it isn't top tier is because it has a very high skill gap, and I feel like alot of the perks should just come standard. For example, the heat rises perk. You shouldn't have to consume a grenade to grant better in-air accuracy for a class that promotes an aerial playstyle. Oh, and all melee speeds should be the same across all classes. I have no idea why it's not.

I can't argue with the fact that Bungie has made Warlock's more of a PvE class. While I do like Stormcaller, I just don't understand why you need a 2-second delay when firing it. It's stupid. It never made sense even when supers were harder to shut down. While we are on the subject, why do we get a blinding light in our face when we fire off Chaos Reach? Why does resilience cost 4 energy, when the other classes only pay 3? Why the heck does this class have the slowest melee of all the classes, when their attacks have no advantage over the Hunter/Titan melee's? This game just doesn't make sense.

Before I was undecided because I only used Warlocks in PvE for super easy mode. Since there isn't much to do in the game and for a bit of a change I started to use Warlock in PVP expecting to be stomped (Since Warlocks are apparently hard done by in PvP at the end of the day). Nope, Warlock are just as easy to use as other classes. Movement is different, obviously, but not insufficient. I haven't even used broken stuff like handheld and specials. Just double primary and top tree dawnblade and I'm holding my own just fine even in SBMM. Stop crying.

Use top tree stormcaller and teleport on their asses. Also don't assume cause you popped your super you can run straight at someone while they're shooting you, tryi g to close half a maps distance in a straight line. Play smarter. Also if you're not using top tree dawnblades then well that's your loss.

Warlocks are fine, just because Stormcaller doesn’t melt as soon as you press the trigger doesn’t make it trash. There’s a 2 second charge up when you start zapping and if there are people within 7 meters of the target you’re zapping they get zapped too. Crown of tempest, ionic blink top tree stormtrance is deadly. If you learn how to use blink correctly it’s even deadlier, not just spam in a straight line, zigzag. One of the things that can be tuned is Nova Warp because that was an over nerf, not asking for a huge buff just a small (small small) push. You move so slow while charging your explosion enemies get away which makes it so you have to blink past the guy you’re going to blow up. The duration of the super was nerfed the, cost of super blink was increased, the amount of super energy used is increased while holding a charge, your movement speed is slower while holding a charge. I would suggest remove the movement speed restriction and keep the rest. Before anyone says the nerf was justified just know you can spam spectral blades and bottom tree striker and it’ll still last longer than Nova Warp, which is silly because the light attacks are used a movement “skating”. They also have a 7 meter lunge. Another would be to fix top tree Dawnblade hit detection there’s time where I smack someone with a blade dead on look away because I think they’re dead but only to look back and throw another one because the first one did 30 damage. Hammers on titan bottom and top have excellent hit detection I never have to hit the same target twice.

Playing other classes will help you appreciate your main. I main Hunter but NovaWarp/Bottom Voidwalker are probably my favorite subclasses to play. Just find your niche and you will work wonders. Trust me.
