From the sleek black and advanced Nanosuit, the charred destroyed armour of the amalgamation of all who linked in the fire in the form of The Soul of Cinder to the Power Suit gifted to Samus and has become a staple of her character, never straying too far from the normal design, armour has always had a prominent role in marketing pretty much anything with combat in it for its looks and appeal. Over the years people have gone apeshit crazy with some of their designs creating some odd things and then some incredible things. What’s your favourite armour set from pretty much any entertainment? Mine personally goes towards Guts’ Beserker Armour from the 1997 Anime Beserk and the novel it originated from. This armour and the greatsword that accompanied it pretty much single handedly inspired the whole aesthetic design of the Souls series up until the third one where they practically said “-blam!- it, make it actually berserk” one of my favourite game series of all time. Having watched the 1997 Beserk anime when I was around 13 or 14, the armour stuck out as well, just awesome, not even to go into the man who wears it. The jagged black and malicious edges of it screams badass as well as the blood red slits for eyes really giving the title of Berserker Armour the respect it deserves. Of course there’s other incredible armour sets out there, but the Berserker armour stands out to me as one of my all time favourites for so many reasons. Anyways, what about you guys?
