I had a great X-Mas! Apparently being on forced vacation really gives one time to follow normal hobbies!

1 ReplyI ate much meat of pig. My stomach was almost bursting and I was burping and farting like crazy. I expected puking but it stayed in. The weird thing was: my farts smelled like cabbage and my burps like egg. But I have not eaten egg! I thought this is how a dying body must smells from the inside but in the end I survived.

1 ReplyEdited by CAMMAX008: 12/29/2019 12:01:51 PMPretty good, but yesterday my dad's side of the family came over and my granddad brought a Christmas pudding he'd bought.
Personally, I think Christmas pudding is ghastly and my family don't really like it much either so we just make a chocolate cake for Christmas.
He had poured about half a bottle of something (not sure what) into it. He asked my dad if we had anything to put on top to set it alight and the only thing we had was vodka or low alcohol beer, so my granddad put vodka on it. I then checked the ingredients and saw that in the pudding it already had orange liqueur. And brandy. And port. My granddad also had at least a glass of red wine with lunch. Maybe two. I didn't try any of that Christmas pudding; I stuck with the chocolate cake I made. My sincerest apologies to anyone driving on the road last night.

4 RepliesSpent it with in-laws. Fought with spouse. Fought with in-laws. Got no sleep. Stayed at a hotel I didn't like. Spent more than I wanted. Witnessed hypocrisy. Discovered hidden agendas. Was embarrassed and humiliated. It was worth it. Why? I won my freedom. I've fought the good fight. My little family is NOT spending the next years holidays with these people again, and possibly ever again. Now I can finally get some quality time with my cell phone as well.

3 RepliesEdited by Girraffalope: 12/29/2019 1:48:55 AMWelcome back comrade! Christmas was..........eventful. Had a lorge family gathering which involved over 30 people, nearly 200 presents (we counted, or at least tired to) some fantastic German and Polish food, and lots of suffering in the name of celebration. As a special gift, my aunt brought over her young children sick with colds, and now every last one of us has been infected. What a magical time of the year!

1 ReplyI had a good Christmas. We had dinner at my grandmother's on Christmas day, minus my mother and sister, who were out of state. Today we had our gift exchange. There were a lot of laughs. Our gift exchange game really picks once people start stealing from others. It's so much better than buying from wishlists or guessing what everyone wants. It's also much easier on the wallet to buy 1 gift to be thrown into the lot of mystery gifts. This year, we added an gag round. That was a lot fun. There was an old, large, and dusty calculator and a Black & Decker battery charger (no battery or tool included) in that round. Surprisingly, those were passed around a bit.

1 ReplyQuiet. That's not a complaint. There was lasagne. And some whiskey. I need to find a replay cam for this game I play... There's a modded track where the ideal line in a bunch of spots is to aim at a sign post off-track, or some piece of guardrail; use that like a clipping point to set up for the next apex. ...so it's not the out-in-out. It's like... shooting a chicane without slowing down. But it's all blind corners and crazy geometry because it's modeled after some mountain in Japan. There's no guardrail in spots, which is helpful for cuts... but it's reaaaaaaaal sketchy. So yeah, some sort of aerial replay footage to analyze would be superdope.
