Whisper should be a special weapon
As the title says, if it isnt granting ammo at least make it have a reliable source of ammo, black spindle, and black hammer were both specials and nothing was wrong with them being specials. If it was a secondary then having an izinagis burden wouldnt be a requirement for raid teams and would save the poor souls dealing with your incompetence of fixing a single quest line.

It’s always a great weapon to use for damage when there’s a boss stationary, like raids or forges. For black armory season it’s all i used. If you look back at D1 it’s the same case, where whisper is one of the best exotics for damage to bosses. For the taken king raid it was almost mandatory for you to have black spindle for the war priest encounter with a substitute being an lmg. I respectfully disagree.

Give it snapshot sights to help proc the things only useful perk faster then i'd call it even .

16 RepliesNah its better as a heavy. With it being a heavy you can use a primary or secondary sniper as well plus an ad clearing weapon. During my first successful run of the GoS boss I ran Show of Force, Recluse, and Whisper and it was great. Took out the cyclops with the show of force with ease, used recluse for goblins and then use whisper for great damage and I had full Whisper ammo.

31 RepliesOne phased the Concecrated Mind with it yesterday. 4 Whispers. 1 Izanagi's and 1 Divinity. If you get your entire reserves off, it does almost 50% more overall damage than Izanagi's. It's fine. You guys are just all "DPS DPS" and YouTube. Pathetic.

I should add on, of course being moved to special tweak the damage a tad bit but it ahoyld still be powerful and not a wet noodle.
