No Iron Banner Weapons????
How is this even a thing? This is supposed to be "Rise of Iron Plus" according to Bungie. We are already at a lack of new weapons as it is. And then we get this slap in the face? Why keep giving year 2 crap? I had all last year to get that. C'mon Bungie! This is REALLY lazy.

6 RepliesUgly and not original at all armor set : checked. No new weapons and still the same recolors : checked. Lagfest incoming : checked. Long ass grind to get armors : checked. All the components to a d2 iron banner. This "event" should have been deleted and trials should have been the mode staying. They killed iron banner and its formidable and legendary aura around it.

1 ReplyOrimunds anvil, frostmires hex, jorums claw, the fools remedy, 4 weapons from year one they could have just gave random rolls for. Is that lazy? Yes. But is that better than literally nothing? Also yes. I would have grinded for a frostmires hex or jorums claw easy. Now I'll be in for two days to do the quests for pinnacle rewards then leave and never touch the sweaty cancer filled playlist. Something I used to look forward to now reduced to a chore.

12 RepliesInstead of making actual new content and giving us more ways to feel powerful they did as little as possible while overhyping the shit out of it. The “new” enemies seem more annoying than challenging and the constant bugs, glitches, and error codes are at an all time high. The artifact basically limits players by forcing you to use certain weapons and sub classes and armor 2.0 needs to be shipped back to the drawing board. 🤦♂️

Why I play Borderlands 3 on console, and Destiny 2 on PC. If you are looking for cool and fun guns, you simply don't get a vast variety from Bungie.

5 RepliesMy main question is, how many are you guys going to use? How many weapons do you find (legendary ones) that you look at? Use for about 5 minutes, realize they are not as good as X weapon and get rid of? I enjoy finding useful weapons. I don't care how many bad weapons they add to the game. It's just more stuff for me to hold down F on. It's the same thing with vendor armor. In my opinion, most of the sets don't look that good (yes that's subjective). However, with vendor armor, Bungie should allow for them to become universal ornaments. The point is if more than half of the weapons or armor they add is crap, why do you care? Why do any of you care? If they add weapons with new perks and new weapons mods into the iron banner, of course, I'd be excited. But as there are no new perks and this isn't borderlands where each of my guns does some crazy shit, there is no reason for me to really care if new weapons are added to the iron banner.

While I’m disappointed to get my 9 millionth Claw of the Wolf, this shouldn’t really surprise anyone who has paid any attention over the last few weeks. When they teased this IB, the touted new armor but said nothing of weapons. Disappointment, sure, I get that. Voice that opinion! But surprise? It was telegraphed well in advance...

Why complain about new weapons when 90% of this game uses nothing but recluse lmao. New weapons aren't gonna change what you plebs use, as you can tell with shadowkeep dropping.

Dude.. Iron Banner shit doesn't sell silver. They had to fix up that Eververse store front, and make sure you could access it no natter where you were. They just want money, not to make you happy. /satire

I'm happy with the weapons. It's letting me get rid of the old versions and get the new ones. Plus I love the armor set I got last night. I was somewhat turned off at first when I saw it but now my Titan looks amazing. I just wish I could've gotten the matching ghost, sparrow and the other weapons from Season 5. The stuff that matches Crimil's Dagger and such. I love that Ironwood shader. Bungie... Any chance you could send some of those goodies my way? I love having matching sets...

8 RepliesRise of Iron was also paid for and didn't have 4 seasons worth of content You need to realise that content isn't just gonna be front loaded all at once anymore. Especially if they want the MMO-lite design, this is how those are. You release a constant stream of content over the course of 1-2 years. And trust me, Bungie is doing it BEST right now. I give up playing FFXIV a week right after content drop because I do all or most of the content, then I'm bored and the gear is uninteresting. Bungie isn't doing the "here's tons of stuff, most of it sucks, have fun see you in 3-4 months" that they did for Year 1 and 2. They WANT you to keep playing, every week. And sure, potentially in 2-3 week, the active users online might drop a bit, but it'll pop back up a few weeks after as the season hits it's end, and then the new season starts. Armour 2.0s entire existence is built on the idea that it's not going away any time soon, and it's something to constantly work on and improve, both in terms of your builds, and in terms of Bungie adjusting how it works. BTW, you wanna know what's better than guns right now? Full pinnacle armour set, that's farmable, and TONS AND TONS of high quality mods just dropping for free. Getting enhanced targetting for all weapons is waaaaay better than almost all the Iron Banners prior.
