Tips i picked up on when i grinded for recluse. Took me 3 days and 14hrs, 90% of that i solo'd 1) NEVER and i mean NEVER go alone, if 2 guys go 1 way and another goes off on his own got with the other 2. 3 is better than 2 is better than 1. 9/10 solo guy gets picked which isnt always a bad thing because rambo wanna be is usually the weak link. Stick with your team and teamshot 2) dont be the guy that wont use meta weapons. If it makes it easier, USE IT. Both times i attempted to LFG all i heard was "im not using that its to cheesy", only to then be stomped and have yet again another loss. If it gets kills, use it. 3) stick to your play style. If youre not a rusher, dont rush. If youre not a sniper, dont snipe. If HCs work better for you than pulses, use HCs. USE WHAT GETS YOU KILLS and play to that weapons strengths, dont try to make it do stuff it cant 4) if youre not a sniper or youre not good at range dont peek. Seen to many people that cant snipe for crap get picked every round. Just rush by lanes jumping, sliding, whatever you have to do to make yourself hard to hit. Comp IS NOT where you try new things, comp is where you do what you know works. 5) lobby farm, big jumps are a no no. If it goes from 1 to 5, re-que. Big numbers means stacks, stacks typically mean losses. 6) dont do what i did and torture yourself. Play a few games, get a few wins then stop. Wait till reset and get your free points. Once you start getting aggrivated just quit for that day and go do something else. I added 30yrs to my life during my grind, wasnt worth it. 7) if you can get to 1980 STOP!!!! Reset will give you the rest of the glory you need. Keep playing and youre likely to lose and have to play more. Once you get to 1980 or above just stop and wait until reset. Ill further add that recluse ISNT life changing, especially on console. It can be easily out done by other weapons. And even with Master of Arms proc'd youre not goong to start team wiping. You at best may win a 1v2 but thats gonna be aboit it unless youre god tier. Recluse isnt worth torturing yourself to get. I honestly wish i hadnt even bothered because once IB leaves im done with PvP until it comes back around again and i may not even play it then if bungo hasmt gotten their shit together by then. Just take your time, youll get there. Its not one of those "I GOTTA HAVE IT YESTERDAY" guns. And im pretty sure that thanks to PC itll be getting a nerf here soon.

If you want to win so bad, why do you choose to play with random players? A personal achievement to win solo? You are putting yourself at a disadvantage, no communication, unknown skill level, you dont know if your team is trying to win, your team mates might be working on quests and not trying to win. When i want to win, i play in a team. You can communicate, work as a team, everyone wants to win, everyone has good supers and weapons and People are skilled. Playing solo, you need lots of patience to deal with bad team mates and matchmaking issues. You also need decent skill to carry bad team mates or win 3v4. If you dont have both of those qualities, then maybe solo queue to win may not be right for you.

NF and luna are not that great. Before the nerf i constantly died to those weapons in qp. Now ? no one uses those weapons and when they do they don't kill me. you dont have one so your putting it on a pedestal. They aren't that great.

I agree. I dont understand why bungie cant implement a decent skill system. If your average team rank is guardian, you should face teams that are in guardian. If your average team rank is fabled, you should face teams that are in fabled. Facing teams that already have pinnacle weapons aand you are facing them in the lower rabks implies that they are good players and that the comp matchmaking system is broken. They should also base it on something similar to Overwatch's system, where the higher the rank you are, the more limited you are to playing with each other, so Legend ranks would not be able to team up with brave seeing as they are too far apart.

You need to practice so you can carry or get a team. Don’t complain when you don’t want to help yourself.

What zone are you playing in and where do you live? I have noticed that if you play in another zone the wi rate drops significantly due to the latency. (Event though it's not that noticable with lagg or ping)

If you were on Xbox I would definitely help you. I got to Fabled during the Revelry to get my Recluse, and later that month Luna's. I understand your frustration, I would've been more than happy to help. Hope you get a team that can deal with the pinnacle crutchers and get you to Fabled.

I'm also to the point of frustration of wanting to straight out cry. It's to the point where I have to play OEM titan to even do well in comp. If I don't I just lose to the enemy team using OEM titan. OEM needs a nerf, Lord of wolves needs a nerf. Super regen needs a nerf it's a terrible sandbox but no other game has the movement and gunplay of destiny.
