Community Gambit Lumina Solution
How about some Lumina love? Keep an eye out for Guardians giving away invasion kills.
How it works:
When you invade start dancing until they kill you. Message the other team to return the favor. Prolong the match by not killing the PE. More invasions = Quest Step done in no time.
Take that, silly Gambit Lumina quest step!
Edit: love the salty tears of tryhards. If your sole source of pride is having a weapon someone else doesn’t in a game you have serious life issues. My Luna’s howl doesn’t make me feel good because others don’t have it. Grow up.

I would be down for it. I think the sign that you're going to do it would be the blue sit emote for your class. It's an emote that everyone has, so it'll be recognizable.

3 RepliesYou do realise you need 1 single kill? It is extremely easy to get several ‘not on my watch’ medals in a single game, if people can’t get a single kill they don’t deserve the weapon.

First 2, and only 2, matches I got into (on PC) and this is what people were doing! I wasn't able to get the kill in the first match, but I did on the second one for the Not On My Watch medal. Every time I invaded I returned the favor. Good stuff people, keep it up!

Gambit is the worst idea in Destiny history and is responsible for every pve nerf in the game, regardless of how many times Bungie says otherwise. If there’s even such a thing, need to relax. Sure anyone can get the gun if they play enough matches but that’s not the damn point. This game ain’t MLG..... Let people help each other out. I know I will be.

I'll gladly support people coming together to help eachother out over sweats trying to make the quest way harder than it has to be for others who really don't care about gambit. Like I said, the silver lining is that I think both teams would have to be in communication and agree to help eachother out. Don't just purposefully lose games for your team. That isn't cool either.

I didn't have a problem with it. First match I got it with a single Truth shot. Just pay attention to the mote count because 90% of Gambit players always stupidly invade as soon as they get the chance.

Yalls logic is -blam!-ed

It took me way too long to finally get the Invader Kill. Teams on both sides weren’t invading. For the 1st time ever my team won a game after time had expired because we had more primeval damage than the other team. So glad to be done with this. Gambit is definitely being played differently with some players not even bothering to DPS the Primeval or invade. They are camping spawn in portals hoping for the quick kill.

1 ReplyY'know, there was a time in Destiny before trywhores and elitists poisoned the well, when this behavior was applauded and even encouraged. I remember the original sword quests. Opponents would see a guardian running around with just a sword hilt. They knew what was up. So they would run over and dance for them, so they could get the kill. There's a whole lotta heinous shit happening in the real world and y'all are butthurt cuz some people decided to have some fun in this game and help out some fellow grinders? I realize fun in a video game might be anathema to some of you, so y'all can just kick rocks.✌

Yet another quest trying to get everyone to play some suto competitive hybrid like all the others do with PvP -_- Plus I just dont like the game mode ( meh I do ok at it but it doesnt ever leave me feeling happy no matter the outcome ... Even if we squash a team completely . gambit just feels cheap and counterproductive to what guardians stand for as far as the story is concerned ) So yeah I just got to this step best believe ill be dancing and making sure I'm the only one invading just to piss all the salty sweaty tryhards on my team off

5 RepliesStep 1 put on izanagi Step 2 Hone x 4 Step 3 Shoot invader Quest done. Even the shittiest sniper can body an invader when they spawn in the first 10 seconds. I don't get why people are having such a huge problem with this. Sure you can beg the other team to let you kill them but most of the time some random is going to try to steal it anyway.

I'm a casual PVP player, returning after a 9+ month break. I don't really like Gambit, it takes to long feels a little slow and borning. Seems like a dumb unnecessary step requiring teammates to not die and hoping to be invaded and manage to get the kill. Still too much revolves around trying to get people to play PVP game modes and shoving HC's down our throats. I did all the exotic quests in D1 even the 7 HC kill in one match, but the PVP was better and I didn't mind a challenge.
