Community Gambit Lumina Solution
How about some Lumina love? Keep an eye out for Guardians giving away invasion kills.
How it works:
When you invade start dancing until they kill you. Message the other team to return the favor. Prolong the match by not killing the PE. More invasions = Quest Step done in no time.
Take that, silly Gambit Lumina quest step!
Edit: love the salty tears of tryhards. If your sole source of pride is having a weapon someone else doesn’t in a game you have serious life issues. My Luna’s howl doesn’t make me feel good because others don’t have it. Grow up.

I used to love gambit went to fabled in like 15-20 games in season of the drifter, (and no I didn't use queen breakers) but sadly the sweats are invading this mode.

I did that earlier for a couple of matches. Invaded about 4 times each and just stood there and waved. Still won both matches.

2 RepliesI used to love playing Gambit, but since the changed things and we got that bs Prime one, i haven’t played one game of it... was skipping this quest because of this step because i just don’t want to play it... Lets hope players will still want to help out when i get to this step...

21 RepliesY'know, there was a time in Destiny before trywhores and elitists poisoned the well, when this behavior was applauded and even encouraged. I remember the original sword quests. Opponents would see a guardian running around with just a sword hilt. They knew what was up. So they would run over and dance for them, so they could get the kill. There's a whole lotta heinous shit happening in the real world and y'all are butthurt cuz some people decided to have some fun in this game and help out some fellow grinders? I realize fun in a video game might be anathema to some of you, so y'all can just kick rocks.✌

I did this when i was doing the quest i got it immediately and went to the other side i hugged the enemy team

1 Replynot my experiences I have people hiding an sniping to make sure no one can get the quest done 3 hours of this complete crap. This is 3 strikes. Increased pinnacle requirement to an unfun level, crappy iron banner, This quest proving they do not care about most players. They keep forcing gambit over and over but not just anything gambit its a "team weapon "that made to help that required you murder a light wielder in 10 seconds, before they can do anything to anyone while they can see us but we can see them and they have a random drop place. and it isnt a team medal no no no its a team weapon you have to do alone. it doesn't even fit their own description. I don't often change reviews of game but I thing that people do just that if they wont respond and prove"they are listening. Having a progression block that allows plays to screw other players simply by hiding can only be blamed on bungie they know they have an elite core of toxic players and they are out in force.

1 ReplyI wouldn’t mind this. I got this step done in my third game even though in each preceding game I swear I also got it done once each time but didn’t receive credit. I’m almost positive I killed the invader twice within ten seconds and before he killed a teammate and each time I didn’t get credit. The third time, I got credit. Wasn’t that hard. Titan thunder crash and truth made it easier.

I was doing this on the first day of the quest. I invaded first and just started dancing - a guy snipes me. Shortly after the same guy invades and he starts firing on our guys. Luckily I killed him before he could kill any of our guys and I got mine done. I kept invading and dancing for the rest of his team, even though he was a dick-knuckle.

I gave everybody on the opposing team a free kill yesterday after i got mine, whilst i drew a loveheart emoji. But, that said, i only did that because i knew they were trying for it after 1 guy messaged me to ask. But i wouldnt do it too much, as it is boosting kind off, and could spoil some players games if i have guys on my team playing serious. But, if im asked again, id probably do it as a one off. But if it became community wide, it would ruin gambit for lots of people, so dont abuse it 😁

5 RepliesMan, there is a lot of salt in here on both sides. It’s really simple: you can’t control other people. We all paid to play, and we will all play our own preferred way. I for one can’t bring myself to not do my job as an invader, but that’s the way I like to play. If someone else wants to be ineffective in the pursuit of assisting others, that’s their call. They paid to play, too. I don’t really give a damn, to do so would be to needlessly cause one’s self undue stress. Just chill. Everyone’s gonna get the gun, either because they had help or because it’s an easy quest to begin with. Same result either way. Chill, Guardians.

I love gambit but when this step was datamined I knew I was gonna be stuck on it. Yet after this post I thought let's try it. I messaged everybody in the lobby before the game started. We all gave have away the medals to eachother. I love it!
