Community Gambit Lumina Solution
How about some Lumina love? Keep an eye out for Guardians giving away invasion kills.
How it works:
When you invade start dancing until they kill you. Message the other team to return the favor. Prolong the match by not killing the PE. More invasions = Quest Step done in no time.
Take that, silly Gambit Lumina quest step!
Edit: love the salty tears of tryhards. If your sole source of pride is having a weapon someone else doesn’t in a game you have serious life issues. My Luna’s howl doesn’t make me feel good because others don’t have it. Grow up.

Then while I wait I emote usually popcorn or chicken dinner. Afterwards I rain death and destruction on the ones that are just sitting back waiting to get a not on my watch medal for the lumina. Nobody gave me a charity kill nor would I have liked it if they did. I played with my buddy for over an hour before he had his kill. I like to have fun and make it a challenge. If you can kill me in 10 seconds after I invade then you deserve it. Happy hunting.

4 RepliesIt’s not that hard to get the kill just use heavy or a one hit weapon I used Joton and posted up on edge of map when u get invaded it took 2 matches solo queueing

1 ReplyYour idea is great. I'm 7 matches in and still haven't got the step. No one in the games I have played have done what you suggest. I'm beyond frustrated at this point. It's not like I haven't killed the invader either. 5 times I did. No one on my team died. I had no idea about the within 10 seconds part. Must have taken me 11 seconds lol. I killed the invader other times too but someone died. They should have just made it 20 team invader kills and forget the bs so that gambit flows as normal. People are competing to kill the invader and not really playing properly just to try get the quest step done. It's ruining the flow of the games I've played and forcing me to play in a way I wouldn't normally.

Or, hear me out, you could just get the kills yourself because it's not hard to do. It's an exotic quest, stop complaining that you literally have to do the bare minimum PvP.

They should change the requirement because it’s says kill an invader before they kill a team mate, I did that 3 times in one game or they should changed the wording to get a not on my watch medal .

2 RepliesBungie really need to get rid of quest steps which involve players doing things that run counter to actually playing the objective of that particular game type/activity. It's bad enough when players troll each other in PvE by refusing to play objective, but worse still when it's incentivized as part of a quest.

honestly, my team did this, we would invade an emote. the other team was cool enough to do the same. within one match everyone got it done. Then the Meatball shows up and that stopped all together, it was a race to the finish. HAHAHA I used the classic wave, "I got a great idea", and "I'm open"

Hope you do this with a full fireteam. Otherwise, you might be helping out some random, but screwing over your 3 teammates who are trying to win the match

This was probably easy for me as I am the one those who gets a kick on hunting invaders. Granted, I had some hiccup on this part (from trades, other teammates getting killed before I can reach the invader), but I got done. This I don't really mind people doing. At the very least the community is doing some good.

3 RepliesGot mine using truth against an invader who was not playing ball. Played another match as a friend needed a win for a bounty and we helped out the other 4 people on the enemy team who thanked us for the help. Nice to see (nearly) everyone playing nicely to achieve a common goal 👌
